INSITUFORM® CIPP– SANITARY SEWER/STORM
A pioneer in cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) technology, Insituform® has installed over 15,000 miles of the product worldwide. The Insituform® process can be used to rehabilitate sanitary sewers, storm
sewers and force mains. Insituform® is a jointless, seamless, pipe-within-a-pipe with the capability to rehabilitate pipes ranging in diameter from 6 to 96 inches and to negotiate bends. Insituform® CIPP addresses your top concerns:
• Infiltration reduction
Water entering your sewer system through holes, breaks and joint failures can significantly tax your treatment facilities, especially during storm events. Insituform® CIPP can significantly reduce this infiltration and leakage from your system. In dry climates, tree and plant roots find the sewer system an attractive source of water and nutrients. Entering through pipe defects, roots create blockages and overflows. Insituform® CIPP contains your flow within the pipe while keeping external water and roots out. We can help you avoid the large capital cost of expanding treatment facilities and the environmental problems caused by sewer overflows.
• Structural integrity
Insituform CIPP restores structural integrity to your damaged sewer pipes. The design models used, independent test results and 35 years of service all confirm that Insituform® CIPP is a structural product with a 100-year design life.
• Increased flow capacity
Insituform® CIPP provides the least cross-sectional reduction of all methods used to rehabilitate pipes. Despite the cross-sectional reduction, the smooth, jointless interior of our product typically improves flow capacity. There are no joints or seams that can separate over time. The smooth interior also provides excellent abrasion resistance.

INSITUFORM® PPL – PRESSURE PIPE LINER
Your damaged pressure pipe system needs a solution that is specially designed to withstand the operating pressure and thermal stresses during your system’s operation. Insituform PPL® is an advanced,
proven and non-disruptive technology that will extend the useful life of deteriorated and leaking pressure pipes. And because it requires limited access and is installed by experienced Insituform® safety-certified teams, there is minimal disruption to system or plant operations.
Insituform PPL® is a custom-engineered, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) product designed to eliminate leakage and prevent internal corrosion and/or erosion in structurally sound pressure pipe. Insituform PPL® is designed with the flexibility to expand up to and transfer internal pressure loading to the host pipe while maintaining the ability to span any small holes, pits or open joints that may exist in the host pipe. The Insituform PPL® design assumes that the host pipe is currently structurally sound and will continue to carry the internal pressure loading for the life of the piping system.
Insituform PPL® is the solution for your pressurized pipe system:
• Diameter ranges from 8 inches to 60 inches
• Suitable for cast/ductile iron, steel, asbestos cement, RCP and thermoplastic pipes
• Thin wall and close fit minimizes reduction in flow cross section
• Flexibility to negotiate horizontal and vertical bends up to 90°
• Small site footprint required for installation
• Installed inside the existing main so there is no risk of damage or disturbance to adjacent utilities or infrastructure

Structure
Insituform PPL® has a construction similar to that of standard Insituform® CIPP tubes. However, special glass reinforcement is included to address specific service conditions found in pressure applications. The resin system for Insituform PPL® is either a vinyl ester or an epoxy, depending on the application. For drinking water applications, a special epoxy resin system is available for use.

Insituform’s iPlus Composite™ pipe delivers tomorrow’s next-generation cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) solutions today. iPlus Composite™ is a
fiber-reinforced CIPP product with greater strength and stiffness than traditional CIPP offerings- making it ideal for rehabilitating medium to large diameter gravity pipes (24” – 84”).
More Strength. Reinforcing fibers are integrated into the pipe wall to form a sandwich laminate structure with improved physical properties. The improved flexural strength makes iPlus Composite™ an excellent material choice for non-circular cross-sections that contain straight sides, like egg shapes or flat bottom arch pipes.
More Capacity. By combining innovative engineering technology with superior materials, Insituform provides a fully structural pipeline rehabilitation product with about half the wall thickness of conventional CIPP products. iPlus Composite™ delivers increased flow capacity relative to the host pipe and more conventional rehabilitation products.
Better for the Environment. iPlus Composite™ is truly a product that does more with less. Less resin is used to produce this product, less energy is required to cure this product and less fuel is needed to transport this product to the jobsite. iplus Composite™ can be installed in less time than conventional CIPP, saving energy and reducing emissions released into the air from on-site equipment.
