Wavestore OPL (Open Platform Linux) provides the capability to create a powerful Linux based digital video recording solution, offering true, seamless mixing of IP, megapixel, multi-megapixel and analogue cameras in a single server, enabling the most suitable camera technologies to be deployed and recorded simultaneously; with the flexibility to change and upgrade the system as required. WAVESTORE OPL software for video/audio surveillance and recording is IP ready, enabling true customisation of video recording and surveillance systems using standard computer hardware. The benefits are reduced cost, intuitive set-up and ease of use. Analogue cameras can be recorded using the optional high performance capture cards, to create true HYBRID performance and seamless analogue and IP support. The LINUX O/S ensures highest reliability, and lowest threat from viral attacks. The free remote client software enables authorised users to access, set up, control and view any camera from a WindowsTM PC from anywhere in the world. Using our analogue capture cards, the product is fully scalable to provide 4, 8, 16 or 32 analogue video inputs with image rates of 50, 100, 200 or 600 pictures per second (pps) global. The hybrid DVR will also support up to 32 IP inputs. The hardware and software at the heart of these systems is offered in OEM form and can be configured as powerful DVR, hybrid DVR, or NVR solutions. For DVR or hybrid DVR builds, the OEM kit also comprises of the video compression PCI card and BNC panel assemblies. The Wavestore OEM kit is available under license to systems integrators. Wavelet Technology will provide everything require to ensure the high integrity of the product, wherever it might be assembled. The software has already been fully translated into several languages (French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Hungarian, Russian, Turkish, Farsi and Japanese), and translations for any other language can be prepared and installed.
