INERT GAS LPG INERT IG-01

INERT GAS LPG INERT IG-01

LPG INERT IG-01 is an inert gas that is found naturally in the atmosphere. It therefore does not contribute to global warming and does not harm the ozone layer. It is chemically inert, is a non-conductor, colourless, odourless and tasteless. Argon is not corrosive and can be used at normal temperatures with materials like nickel, steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and bronze The LPG INERT IG-01 extinguisher systems are based on the principle of a reduction of the oxygen concentration in the area at risk. The concentration of oxygen reduces to a point where combustion is no longer possible. Each system is designed to reduce the oxygen to a specific level. In a single discharge, the Argon is quickly and evenly distributed in the enclosure, reaching the design concentration in 60 seconds. The discharge is carried out via valves that are developed completely by LPG and certified by the top independent agencies. They offer a great flexibility of adaptation to all actuation systems currently on the market and even allow combinations of several of these. Their design incorporates elements that protect against accidental activation due to micro-seepage. They also allow all the critical elements of a fixed extinguishing system to be checked and maintained at the time of commissioning and also subsequent preventive maintenance, thus avoiding the risk of accidental discharge. As a general rule, the concentration will be sufficient to extinguish the fire when the oxygen concentration in the air is reduced from the normal level of 20.9% to levels below 15%, depending on the fuel. LPG INERT IG-01 is stored as compressed gas in high pressure cylinders. The space required for the cylinders will therefore depend on their pressure and capacity. The fire extinguishing system with IG-01 is designed for a cylinder filling pressure of 200 or 300 bar. The capacity of the cylinders that LPG uses is 80 litres, and 140 litres saving both space and money. Although the extinguishing method of the LPG INERT IG-01 systems is the same as the CO2 systems (reduction of the oxygen concentration), the IG-01 can be used safely in occupied areas and maintains excellent visibility during discharge. LPG INERT IG-01 is ideal for the protection of archives, museums, libraries and any other risk that contains high value or irreplaceable goods. It is also suitable for the protection of computer rooms, telephone switchboard units and any other electrical installation that constitutes a risk. >>>

AUTOMATIC DILUTION EXTRACTIVE - OPSIS POWERMAN 400

AUTOMATIC DILUTION EXTRACTIVE - OPSIS POWERMAN 400

OPSIS PowerMan 400 Schematic showing OPSIS PowerMan 400 CEM systemThe OPSIS PowerMan 400 System is an automatic dilution extractive system, designed for continuous emissions monitoring of such gases as NOx SO2 CO O2 H2O CO2 and Hg, all in one system. The dilution sampling system extracts a small sample of gas from the stack. After particles have been removed, the sample is precisely diluted with clean, dry zero air. The sample is then transported to the analyser cabinet in a heat traced sample line. The PowerMan 400 system complies with the EC large combustion plant directive and meets the requirements of the US EPA with regard to 40 CFR part 60/75. The system is ideally suited for installations with long distances between analyser and measuring point, The system can be ordered with the OPSIS data management software, EnviMan which offers advanced data collection, validation, alarm reporting and statistical analyses capabilities as well as meeting EC and U.S. EPA reporting requirements. The PowerMan 400 turn-key system is especially designed for combustion plants and the system is easy to install and maintain. The basic system includes probe, cabinet, data logger and NO/NOx measurement and the system can be easily upgraded to include analysers and sensors for the measurement of SO2 CO O2 H2O CO2 and Hg. Other options include an automatic calibration system and longer sample lines. >>>

GAS MEASUREMENT - DUALSTREAM I & II

GAS MEASUREMENT - DUALSTREAM I & II

Dualstream I & II Wet gas measurement is now an integral part of most gas condensate field developments. Dualstream wet gas flow meters have been utilised in over 100 projects since the early 1990's and have been a key factor in enabling marginal field development providing wet gas allocation measurements and enhancing reservoir data. Historically wet gas has been considered to range from HC gas with only a trace of liquid to liquid fractions of up to 5% by volume, i.e. 95-100% GVF (gas volume fraction). In reality gas condensate fields can have total liquid fractions of up to 10 or 15%. i.e. GVF 85-100% Additionally the well data required from a wet gas meter can range from a simple gas rate measurement through to full multiphase flow data or water breakthrough information. Solartron ISA's Dualstream range of wet gas flow meters utilise four key measurement principles. These principle are matched to each application in order to provide the most appropriate and cost effective solution. Our 2nd generation Dualstream wet gas meters now offer: Improved performance on gas and liquid rate uncertainties Water breakthrough detection Integral Equations of State Digital communications in subsea applications enabling reduced size and weight of subsea meters Applications Dualstream wet gas meters have been deployed onshore, topside or at depths of down to 3000m subsea. Reservoir management Optimise production Water breakthrough detection Remote well monitoring Well testing Production allocation Royalty allocation Essential for economic development of marginal fields Separator enhancements Liquid carryover To enable us to provide the most comprehensive response to enquiries please complete our application questionnaire as fully as possible.
