Reliable pipework protection for craft from 6 - 20metres Cathelco have specifically designed the system for luxury yachts and cruisers in the 6 - 20 metre range. The system uses the latest technology, but applies principles which have proved effective on more than 14,000 leisure and commercial craft around the world. The technical breakthrough has been in miniaturising the control panel and anodes so that they can be easily and economically installed in areas where space is limited. Here are some of the advantages of fitting it on your craft:- Ultra-compact pipework anti-fouling system to protect seawater engine cooling lines and ancillary equipment from bio-fouling. Anodes are available with integral cathodes and can be fitted to stainless steel, brass or plastic strainers to protect any type of pipework. Miniaturised control panel with digital displays showing output to anodes. Can be powered from the craft's battery supply. Automatically senses any d.c. voltage between 12V and 24V. The compensators utilise either a roller diaphragm or bellow arrangement to transmit ambient changes in pressure. The compensating mechanism is complemented with springs of various rates to ensure the internal pressure remains above that of the surrounding water. Analogue transducers are available for all compensators to monitor oil level continually. HEAVY DUTY RELIABILITY Curvetech compensators are constructed from plastic and/or hard anodised aluminium with stainless steel fasteners to ensure corrosion resistance. Versions are available suitable for operation to full ocean depth. Curvetech Compensated Reservoirs utilise different sizes of Curvetech compensators mated to reservoir bodies to offer various volumes of oil storage.
