Presentation
The MB (basic module) is a small, compartmentalised transformer substation designed by ORMAZABAL to be installed in
premises assigned for a transformer substation, inside buildings used for other purposes and in medium-voltage public power distribution networks.
It basically consists of a compact medium-voltage equipment with two incoming feeder cubicles and one protection cubicle from the CGM-CGC or CGMCOSMOS systems, a transformer, a low-voltage panel, and the respective interconnections and auxiliary components.
All equipment comes factory-assembled on a self-supporting frame, that includes wheels for transport, to ensure a uniform, quality finish.
Field of application
The MB can be used in distribution networks of up to 36 kV, wherever a 250, 400 or 630 kVA transformer is required. The medium-voltage electrical configuration has two incoming feeder functional units (input and output) and a functional unit with a fuse-switch combination unit for transformer operation and protection, as well as a low-voltage panel with fuse-switch outgoings.

The PFU transformer substations consist of a monoblock-structure,
concrete enclosure which houses all electrical components: medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage panels, including transformers, control devices and interconnections between the various components.
These transformer substations offer a major advantage over other substations, as they can be entirely factory-built, assembled and equipped, ensuring uniform quality and minimizing the construction and assembly work at the installation site. Furthermore, the superb design of the equipment allows it to be installed in industrial areas as well as urban settings.
Field of application
The PFU transformer substations allow power supply configurations that include up to two transformers, with a maximum power per unit of 1000 kVA.

The PFS substations are monoblock-structure, reinforced concrete
transformer substations designed for underground installation that can be used to house a variety of power distribution configurations, making it adequate for both public distribution substations and private facilities.
The underground design and ease of adaptation of the visible surface of these substations minimizes environmental impact.
These transformer substations offer a major advantage over other substations, as they can be entirely factory-built, assembled and equipped, ensuring uniform quality and minimizing the construction and assembly work at the installation site.
Two different versions are available, depending on the ventilation system: PFS-V (ventilation with vertical grilles - protruding) and PFS-H (ventilation with horizontal grilles - not protruding)

The PFS transformer substations can be used in power distribution up to 36 kV, by including a transformer with a maximum power of 1000 kVA or two transformers with a maximum power per unit of 1000 kVA.
