COLUMBUS ELECTRIC KT-121AH THERMOSTAT

COLUMBUS ELECTRIC KT-121AH THERMOSTAT

FEATURES: In-line thermostat UL Listed CSA Certified 13 Amps @ 125 VAC Res. Temperature range -10° to 100° F Differential: Approximately 3° F A custom designed Thermostat for automatic control of Line Voltage Systems. The bimetal sensing element provides accurate control for Heating Systems. Snap-Action dust proof contact assures closer temperature control and longer life without radio and television interference. This Thermostat is easy to install and is an approved surface mounted control. Great for pets! Keep your cage at just the right temperature with this affordable in-line thermostat. The thermostat will turn your heating element on and off to adjust to your setting. An excellent addition to help control your pet's environment. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Locate 4-5 feet above the floor where the thermostat will not be affected directly by heat from the heater, outside drafts or the sun. A location that best samples average temperature of the controlled space is best. CAUTION: On rough mounting surface, use top two mounting holes only. When you mount this control on an uneven surface and pull all four mounting screws down tight, you can twist the case enough to affect thermostat calibration and operation. All wiring should be done in accordance with applicable codes, ordinances and regulations. >>>

INSULATION - ALREFLEX PLATINUM

INSULATION - ALREFLEX PLATINUM

Alreflex Platinum High performance partial fill cavity insulation and rain barrier An all encompassing cavity wall solution to Part L 2006 and Part 6 Scottish Standards A 50mm thickness of Alreflex Platinum can achieve a U-Value better than 0.35W/m2K in a 100mm cavity using any 100mm standard medium density block. This detail will still meet the requirements of the new Part L 2006 based on current information. Available in a range of thicknesses to meet the various building regulations requirements. (See U-Value solutions on back page.) BBA Certificated Platinum board laminated to BBA Certificated Alreflex 1L-1 Super R Class O of which approximately 4 million sq.m. has been successfully installed in UK housing. Special overlapping joints secured by wall tie clips creating a waterproof rain barrier to prevent ingress of water across the cavity. Continuous overlapping system to aid air tightness of wall. 1200 x 450 boards installed as standard cavity wall boards but with laps secured on wall ties. Installation ProcedureWalls are constructed in the conventional manner with special Alreflex wall ties spaced at 450mm vertically and 900mm horizontally. Alreflex Platinum is installed on top of a run of wall ties in the normal way with the lap slit with a knife at the wall-ties to allow the flap to run past the wall-tie and lie flat on the board. Secure the board with the clips in the normal way. The special downstand on the Alreflex wall ties takes up any possible vertical pressure experienced when installing the boards and clips. Cavity wall insulation and rain barrier. Laps provide a continuous water proof barrier against the ingress of rainwater etc. 25mm Board achieves: U = 0.35W/m2K with 100mm (K=0.11) aerated block Achieves Part L 2006 requirements with a minimum 75mm cavity in most house types. 50mm Board achieves: U = 0.35W/m2K with 100mm concrete block U = 0.30W/m2K with 100mm (K=0.19) aerated block Can achieve Part L 2006 requirements with a minimum 100mm cavity in most house types. Extensions in England & Wales; U Value of 0.30 is the elemental value for walls in extensions based on Part L 2006 *These details are especially suitable for high rise and commercial buildings. U = 0.27W/m2K with 100mm (k=0.11) aerated block Extensions in Scotland; U Value of 0.27 is the elemental value for walls in extensions based on Part 6 Scottish Standards 50mm THICK ALREFLEX PLATINUM CAVITY BOARD WITH ALREFLEX 1L1 DRY LINING OR THERMAL LAMINATE BOARD Cavity wall insulation and rain barrier with high performance dry lining and vapour barrier. Laps provide a continuous water proof barrier against the ingress of rain water etc. U = 0.25W/m2K with 100mm (K=0.19) aerated block. Suitable for all areas and projects where a low U-value is required (i.e. in electrically heated flats etc.) High comfort level with quick heat-up period. Also suitable for 3-storey housing and flat construction. Ideal for all exposure areas. Please note: If a laminated board with a dot and dab fixing is preferred to the 1L1 DRY LINING detail shown, please contact our technical department for suitable boards and thicknesses. >>>

ANTI FOULING - CUPROMARK

ANTI FOULING - CUPROMARK

The Dunlaw Cupromark marine antifouling marker system was developed alongside its sister product Cuproprene in response to the Oil & Gas Industry's requirement, for long term underwater asset and apparatus identification. The Cupromark range of markers maximises effective use of diver ROV, AUV and DSV time, during inspection, repair and maintenance. The markers can be installed on offshore steel or concrete structures, templates, manifolds, Xmas trees, wellheads, spoolpieces, pipelines, and umbilicals to name but a few. The antifouling capability of Cupromark is the result of extensive testing and research for over 20 years. In order to provide permanent subsea identification, markers must remain clear of marine growth throughout the lifetime of the offshore/subsea structure. This performance is achieved by exploiting the antifouling properties of copper. Cupromark antifouling material consists of a monolayer of cupro-nickel granules (1mm dia and 1 mm long) embedded and chemically bonded into the surface of a 3 mm thick Polychloroprene rubber sheet. The copper nickel used has excellent corrosion and antifouling properties as well as higher erosion resistance than other 90/10 alloys. The bulk of the cupro-nickel remains below the surface of the marker and the antifouling effect continues at a controlled rate over many years. Cupromark markers are pigmented in high visibility yellow (background) and black (character colour). Visibility tests carried out have proven this colour combination to the most effective, and this has been adopted as standard. Specially developed installation systems are available for securing the markers, including vulcanising, cold bond adhesives and a variety of strapping systems. >>>
