DISTRIBUTED ARCHITECTURE
The module includes a single on board relay, expandable to five, two 4-20mA
outputs, and a buffered output for each
input. A third buffered output is available
when the module is functioning in the single redundant channel mode. This
buffered output signal corresponds to the active input signal. It is provided so that
connected devices, including other XM modules, can be assured of always receiving
a valid speed signal - as long as at least one of the two redundant speed inputs is
functioning properly.
Configuration can be performed either locally or remotely via the DeviceNet network.
Local configuration is provided by a simple, intuitive Serial Configuration Utility
executing on a PC connected to the modules serial communications port. Remote
configuration can be performed from any networked PC executing either any
standard DeviceNet configuration software, or the XM specific configuration tool
included in Rockwell Software’s RSMACC Enterprise Online software system
The XM-220 can operate stand alone, or it can be deployed on a standard or
dedicated DeviceNet network where it can provide real-time data and status
information to other XM modules, PLCs, distributed control systems (DCS), and
Condition Monitoring Systems.

The Ziton ZM2 analogue addressable fire detection and alarm control panel, brings big-system intelligent features to small applications. Designed for easy setup and simple installation, the Modula series lives up to its name in every respect. ZM2's exclusive auto-learn function and the option of configuration using either convenient front panel programming or from a PC, makes short work of system setup.
A built-in barcode scanner port enables devices to be brought on line instantly. Simply passing the optional scanner over the device barcode stores information in Modula's QuickStart database. The scanner can also be used for simple text entry when originating custom display messages.
Considering the systems robust features, set up is deceptively simple. The panel can be configured as single loop supporting up to 127 analogue devices (sensors, callpoints, interfaces), or by the addition of a modular analogue device controller, increased to two loops with a total capacity up to 254 analogue addresses.
Modula takes full advantage of Ziton's exclusive ZP analogue addressable technology, providing convenient addressing, automatic device mapping, and environmental compensation.
Innovative design makes it easy to add facilities. Quick-Lok option cards snap onto easily accessible DIN mounting rails. Flexibility in both control and display is provided by 40 programmable front panel switches with dual LEDs.
ZM2 is as simple to operate as it is to set up. Its large 14 line, backlit LCD display provides concise information on up to 1,000 system events, while bright system status LEDs and large, tactile control buttons present the user with a clean, crystal clear interface. Four password levels limit control and information retrieval to authorized personnel.
On sites where control and indication is a requirement at more than a single location, up to eight remote display units can be wired to the panel by serial link connection.
Modula's flexibility, simple setup and operation make it ideal for new installations or in a wide range of refurbishment projects, where the use of existing wiring can often substantially reduce installation costs.

Dancer Mode:
In dancer control applications, the DFC-90 and DFC-A are full
PID closed loop dancer controls. They control web tension by sensing the position of the dancer arm through a DFP or DFP-2 Position Sensor and adjusting the clutch, brake or motor control torque accordingly to maintain the dancer position set point. An advanced control algorithm provides optimum control and ease of use.
Follower Arm Mode:
In follower arm applications, the DFC-90 and DFC-A control web tension by compensating for measured changes in the roll diameter. Roll diameter changes are measured through the DFP or DFP-2 Position Sensor and a follower arm. An optional Stop Multiplier provides additional stopping torque to help stop large unwind rolls.

The Batching Master 110i
is used to set and batch pre-selected volumes or mass. Various analogue or digital input signals are accepted, allowing the unit to be connected to sensors and systems from every manufacturer. The instrument is especially designed for the automation of metering where a precise result or large operator interface is required such as reactor addition control or tanker loading stations.
A multi-stage shut off facility ensures stable fluid control as the actuator can be ramped open and closed, preventing hammer in high flow rate systems.
An emergency shut off and watchdog functions supervise parameters such as overfilling, cable break or low flow during batching.
The Batching Master 110i is field mounted in a rugged epoxy coated aluminium enclosure and can therefore be located in the most arduous environments.
Optional software is available to control variables such as flow, temperature or pH during batching. This feature can greatly reduce production times when charging a reactor with an exothermic element and controlling the temperature to an optimum level.
Custody transfer approval and linking to protocol printers or DCS and SCADA systems is also a feature of this modern instrument.

You can manage agents efficiently by changing permissions for groups of agents at once, or set permissions and settings such as wrap-up time for individual agents as needed. Sophisticated and flexible routing helps callers reach the queue and quickly connect to the right agent for the job.
You can make a queue accessible by an extension, DDI, auto attendant, or dial-by-name directory. Even send callers to a queue in another branch office or city using the built-in IP Gateway support. Once calls reach the queue, you have full control over how they're distributed to agents. Send calls to the agent who has handled the fewest calls, the agent who has been idle the longest, the agent with the shortest talk time, or your best agents first.
Other options include ringing all agents' phones simultaneously and round robin. Give important callers higher priority so that they move closer to the head of the queue and reach an agent sooner. You can even treat certain callers differently based on time of day or who is calling.
