Many components in distribution and control equipment are designed for easy installation into equipment by having a recess and retaining clip on the rear surface; all switch handles and indicators are on the front face. This allows the item to be clipped onto industrial standard symmetrical DIN rail. The devices can be fitted to and removed from the rail very easily. These pans allow the easy installation of NS MCCBs onto a purpose designed 4 pole busbar system. The design gives great flexibility as any phase or neutral connection may be made in any position. This allows 1P, 1P&N, 2P, 3P, 3P&N and 4P breakers up to 250A to be fitted to the busbars in any order and in any combination without wasting space. 400A and 630A 3 pole and 4 pole breakers can also be fitted to the bars in any position, intermixed with the smaller breakers.
The phase connection is determined by the breaker.
When fitted with breakers or blanking plates the busbar is fully shrouded, preventing access to live parts.
