Forced draught, steam atomising oil,gas and dual-fuel burners are based on the twin fluid mixing principle. Atomisation of oil is initially achieved by the high-velocity impact of steam and fuel oil in multiple channels, and subsequently continues in the combined mixing and ejection passages of the atomiser. Very low steam consumption and fine atomisation are characteristics of the system, which also offers fully automatic operation and high turn-down ratio. The fine atomisation of the system allows fuel oils from naphtha to heavy pitches to be burnt. T-Series burners

are suitable for shell type boilers and water tube boilers or furnaces, and support boiler outputs between 1.0 and 40MW. Versions are available for boilers using multiple firing to give up to 300MW. The burners can be supplied as complete, packaged units or as inserts for integrated front wall/airbox types.
