MVD/24 CRYSTAL PLASTIC GROWTH CHAMBERS
The MVD/24 plate provides the convenience and handling ease of a standard plastic culture plate without the use of siliconized and greased cover-slips required by the hanging drop method. Each vapor diffusion chamber has a plastic post in the center of the well to hold the protein drops. The cup has been designed to provide maximum surface for free diffusion during equilibration. The reservoir solution is held within the narrow moat surrounding the support post. This configuration is very stable and prevents splashing whenever the plates are transported. The plates are sealed with a special clear tape that is supplied. This provides for the rapid sealing of all chambers simultaneously. The sheet can be cut from an individual chamber to remove a crystal without disturbing the other walls. The Synthetic Rubber Baling Press is PCL's flagship product and has been supplied all over the world to nearly all the major blue chip Petrochemical Companies. The units are available in 100/120/150/200 and 300 tonne versions being suitable for producing bales of rubber of all grades (BR, NDR, SBR, SSBR, PBR, EPDM, Butyl, Halobutyl and Recycled Rubber) in various sizes to suit the clients requirements and general weights of 20 to 35 kg. The baler can also be designed to allow bale dimension changes to be made easily and the press overall dimensions can also be modified if the client has restrictions such has height in an existing building. Ancillary equipment such as electronic weighscales, fully linked to the balers via moving stainless steel chutes which prevent crumb loss and increase bale weight accuracy, can be added depending on the clients preference. The Resistance Head is offered as a spring loaded wedge type, 2 position or 3 position parallel types, the latter having built in chutes. The hydraulic power unit has been developed to give fast speed at low pressure and on reaching the required baling pressure hold this pressure consistently during the dwell or consolidation time at low motor load. The electrical control has also been developed with the use of PLC's of most major suppliers which can have built in diagnostics, data transfer to a central control and the utilisation of a screen at the control panel which can display production rates, cycle times, alarms and many more features. ELECTRICAL RUBBER SAFETY MATTINGApplications The Factories Acts require the provision of permanent insulation to prevent danger from shock to persons employed in the generation, transformation, distribution or use of electricity. Electrical Matting is the recommended safety flooring at switchboards, sub-stations, transformers and electrical workbenches. In temporary applications, portable mats should be used. Service Information If joins are unavoidable when laying Switchboard Matting, the pieces should butt together with no gaps between. Mats shall have a minimum width of 900mm to accord with the Regulations concerning the minimum width of a working platform or passageway associated with a Switchboard on which there are exposed connectors (for voltages up to 650v). Where the Regulations do not apply, the same minimum width is recommended. It is stressed that rubber mats should not afford the sole means of protection for those working on electrical circuits and wherever possible further adequate precautions should be taken against risk of shock and short circuit. Confiscated illicit CDs are crushed and dispersed in a pale blue transparent polycarbonate material that we have recycled from blue, cold water drinks containers. CD sheets are made at 1200 x 800mm only and are supplied slightly oversize but untrimmed. We can also make sheets at 8mm or 6mm thick Click on the image for a larger look at the plastic. Please note that there is colour variation from batch to batch and also from screen image to sample. Also samples vary according to where they were cut from the sheet.
