    ROOFS - ELECTRIC SLIDING (RETRACTABLE) - IDS111SKY

    ROOFS - ELECTRIC SLIDING (RETRACTABLE) - IDS111SKY

There are very few things in the world that can enhance your home and quality of life like the IDS111SKY, providing a genuine sense of style, luxury and the focal point to any property, dreamed of and desired by all homeowners. Truly letting you enjoy the best of the British weather, the ambience of your garden and the starlit night sky. Special features Suitable for all domestic and commercial applications Custom manufactured to suit your requirements Energy efficient and severe weather and snow-loading Fully computerised auto-sensor which opens and closes in accordance with the weather conditions option The robust construction can accommodate Folding Sliding Doors or Sliding Doors within the design Full range of finishes, with polycarbonate or double glazed toughened glass units Low Maintenance and fully guaranteed Versatility in design The electric sliding roof system is manufactured from extruded thermally broken aluminium profiles in a modular form, which makes the structure slim and light but incredibly strong; it also ensures minimum heat loss and prevents condensation. Thanks to its monoblock system, the electric sliding roof system can be offered in several styles and is individually designed to suit your own requirements, contact our technical department for details. Pitch The robust construction allows a maximum span of up to 6000mm - even greater in polycarbonate or linked modules - and can offer a clear unsupported opening span of up to 4000mm to incorporate folding sliding door or sliding door systems below. A multi-angle wall plate accommodates a roof pitch from 6o to 39o. Ventilation The IDS111SKY electric sliding roof has the option to be controlled by either a remote control handset or a computerised control panel, which has an outside sensor that provides three different functions: When open, the roof will automatically close if rain or strong wind is detected. When closed, should the temperature outside become very cold the sensor will prevent the roof from being opened, causing damage to frozen seals. Furthermore should the inside temperature become uncomfortable an automatic venting position can be programmed, to a position without the risk of burglary. Thus the inside climate can be controlled manually at a touch of a button or regulate itself without the need of human intervention. Weather seals The system has been developed and extensively tested to withstand all possible weather conditions. The solid structure and interlinking weatherproof gasketry stands up perfectly to immense winds, wet conditions and snow loading. Operating system Roof panels are divided up into three tiered sections, with two sections sliding behind a fixed top section opening up to two-thirds of the roof. The panels are electronically operated by a bi-polar tubular motor, powered either by a 220-240V mains voltage or a small 24V version for swimming pool enclosures, providing smooth and virtually silent movement. Appearance There is a vast choice of finishes available. The standard finish is polyester powder coated to over eight different RAL colours: White, Beige, Olive Green, Forest Green, Blue, Red, Brown and Grey, other RAL colours (over 201 colours available), dual colour or wood grain effect are available for a nominal charge. MEGASLATES TILE

    MEGASLATES TILE

Megaslates are individual, frameless BIPV modules which, together, form an overall roofing system. Simple and easy to install, a Megslates roof is great to look at as well as functional. Each 100ft2 of roof space will accomodate 1kWp of installed Megaslates capacity - which in the UK produces an average of approximately 800kWh of electricity annually. Megaslates roof elements are produced at an optimal size for the available roof surface. This enables a maximum power production whilst achieving your aesthetic design goals. Chimneys and skylights can be integrated with system solutions and, if necessary, Megaslates dummy elements are available. A Megaslates roof should be well ventilated. To achieve this, the support structure consists of counter battens which have to be at least 2" high. Battens of well dried timber and a cross section of 1 1/4" x 3 3/4" mounted on top. The Megaslates are secured with coated brackets and connected to each other via cables, which should be laid out before the Megaslates are secured down. Megaslates are preferably laid from top to bottom. >>>

    SEL SUDSTEX PERMAFILTER GEOTEXTILE

    SEL SUDSTEX PERMAFILTER GEOTEXTILE

SEL Sudstex Permafilter® geotextile is a non-woven, dimpled, needle-punched geotextile that has been specifically designed for hydrocarbon pollution treatment in civil engineering applications (such as filtration, separation, drainage, protection and reinforcement). Hydrocarbons are trapped by the geotextile whereas clean water is allowed to pass through. The entrapped hydrocarbons can then be biodegraded by naturally occurring micro-organisms providing a self-cleansing mechanism. The SEL Sudstex Permafilter® geotextile can be used stand-alone to provide treatment beneath any hardened surface, or as part of a treatment train within SUDS such as the SEL Source Control System or permeable pavements. Why do you need it? Urbanisation and land development are commonly associated with significant negative impacts on the environment (i.e. increasing water volumes and pollutant loads). In particular, diffuse pollution mobilised from impervious surfaces is recognised as a major cause of decline in the quality of controlled waters. The pollutants are specific to the land use and can include substances from atmospheric deposition, maintenance and deposits from exhausts and vehicle oil leaks. General perception of pavements is that they are watertight structures; however, the majority of paved surfaces allow the ingress of water due to engineered water passages (e.g. gaps, expansion joints etc) or moreover pavement fatigue (i.e. cracks and fissures) all of which contribute to accumulation of diffuse pollution through contaminant transportation. >>>

RIVEN AND SAWN LATH AND BATTENS

We stock over 100,000 feet of lath and battens. Riven lath is cut with the grain and is less flexible than sawn lath and offers a coarser surface for lime plasters to adhere to, making it more suitable for ceiling repairs. The key to the riven surface is then an additional grip to that formed by squeezing the lime plaster through the gaps between the laths. Typical lengths stocked are 3ft, 4ft, 6ft and 8ft. >>>

    SLATE - DEL CARMEN

SSQ Del Carmen is specially and exclusively quarried from the Del Carmen quarry in North West Spain to offer customers a top of the range slate usually sought by demanding markets such as Germany or France. SSQ Del Carmen slate is a traditional riven slate with a distinctive texture. The blue-black colour is totally natural and does not fade in sunlight. SSQ Del Carmen is a high-density slate that does not crack, when fixed properly. It is almost totally inert and shows no reaction in polluted atmospheres. It is also non-porous and will not support the growth of mosses or lichens. It is also unaffected by insect attack. The SSQ Del Carmen Ultra slate has been tested to international standards, including French Standard P32/302. This French Standard is widely known as the highest classification worldwide and the testing is carried out at the quarry on a yearly basis by the Laboratoire Natonal d’ Essais. SUNSLATES™ TILE

    SUNSLATES™ TILE

SUNSLATES™ are an advanced photovoltaic product that allow the roof of your building to serve as both a roof slate and a power generator simultaneously. At 14.3 Watts per module, it takes 70 SUNSLATES™ to generate 1kW of DC electric power, which covers about 90ft² (8.36m²) of roof area. A portion of south facing roof can provide up to 100% of electricity that your family uses. The ideal roof pitch in the UK is about 35 degrees. As an Energy Saving Trust recognised product, a Government grant may be available (in England and Wales) and current information on this can be found at the following site - Low Carbon Building Trust. Each SUNSLATES™ tile begins as an Eternit roofing slate, a dominant material throughout Europe. The low glare, tempered glass power panel is then bonded to the exposed surface to create what is known as a SUNSLATE™. With SUNSLATES™ solar electric roofing tiles, you get more than just a roof over your head. You get a technologically advanced roofing solution that can substantially contribute to your building's demand from the National Electricity Grid. Alternatively, it can be integrated into a complete off-grid micro-generation solution. >>>
