Plate CHAMELEON V is an ideal tool for researchers
who need a plate reader to give them reliable, authenticated results when and where they need them.
The combination of 6 technologies, both radiometric and non-radiometric, makes it ideal for scintillation counting, luminescence and absorbance readings as well as for fluorescence, including fluorescence intensity, fluorescence polarization and time-resolved fluorometry. Modular design guarantees you choose just those technologies you need to make up your own personal reader, and fibreless detection geometry (patent pending) quarantees the highest performance in each measurement mode.
Plate CHAMELEON has a footprint only slightly bigger than a laptop, so it fits in everywhere and is easy to transport. you can run the reader from its own keypad or PC and download the results to the sophisticated Hidex MikroWin Data Analysis Software, MS Excel or other data reduction programs.

UIP250MTP - MICROTITER PLATE SONICATION
The UIP250MTP allows for the consistent sonication of an entire microtiter plate within the sonotrode. It can be used for the deagglomeration, dispersing, degassing and for the cell disruption.
The
ultrasonic power is distributed evenly through each well of the microtiter plate giving you reproducible sonication effects. Furthermore, the amplitude of oscillation is adjustable and is maintained at the adjusted value for the whole sonication period. The UIP250MTP consists of the 250 watts generator, the sonotrode and the required sound protection hood (acrylic glass). This makes it a complete stand-alone unit that is easy to set-up and operate. The ultrasonic generator is tuned to the frequency of the sonotrode automatically so that there is no manual adjustment required (e.g. in case of a cooled sonotrode). Two attached tubes allow for a continuous flow of the liquid in the sonotrode.
The UIP250MTP can be operated continuously (e.g. 24/7). It is dry-running protected and can be cleaned and disinfected easily. Pulsed operation or different sonication periods can be adjusted exactly at the front panel of the ultrasonic generator. An optionally available PC-interface with software can record the total ultrasonic power and the net input power at any Windows®-PC and allows for the remote control of all essential parameters, such as sonication time and amplitude.
The UIP250MTP is also available as an OEM-unit for the installation into automated microplate systems.

QUARTZ PLATES AND DISKS
Quartz plates and discs are widely used on optical appliances, for quartz fabrication and in semiconductor industry.
Based on the production methods, three different types of plates are provided:
Grade QL410 is an Electric Fused type made from cutting the fused tubes made by continuous fusion process. It has similar properties as Grade QL110 Tube. Both plates and disks can be surface-polished. The maximum size of a single piece is 500mmx500mm. 4+ pieces can be welded together for the request of larger size.
Grade QL420 is a Flame Fused type cut from flame fused ingot. It combines the strength of QL410 type with higher thermal resistance. The maximum diameter of the flame fused ingot is 450mm which determines the maximum diameter of the disks and the maximum length of the plates cut from the ingot is 400mm.
Quartz Rings and flanges with different sizes are also available of this grade.
Grade QL630 is a Synthetic type which is made from synthetic ingot. It has high properties in chemical purity, optical transmission and bubble content, etc. The maximum diameter of this type of ingot is 350mm, thus the maximum diameter of a single piece of disk and the maximum length of a plate cut from the ingot is up to 300mm. Synthetic fused silica blocks are also available at different sizes for optic fibre industry.

Overview
The Twister II Microplate Handler is more than a high capacity plate stacker, it's also a plug-and-play bench top automation solution, offering increased capacity, flexibility and
ease-of-use software. Following in the footsteps of it predecessor, the Twister, Twister II affords users the ability to automate many lab instruments and even build completely automated workcells. With up to 400 standard microplate capacity, Twister II provides extended hours on walk away time for scientists and researchers. The extended vertical reach of Twister II is best exploited when used with iBLOX modular system tables, allowing instruments to be housed at multiple levels thus reducing floorspace requirements. Two Standard Models:
Traditional – Ideal for systems use or for maximal storage capability. This unit consists of the Twister II arm with modular storage pods that attach in a semi-circular fashion. When used in Staccato systems, we commonly use a pair of storage pods in a “bow-tie” configuration which allows the arm to access instruments to the front and rear.
Side Loader - This model features a rectangular base with three storage racks and is ideal for loading one or two instruments.
