    The MPC18730 Power Management device regulates five independent output voltages from either a single cell Li-Ion (2.7 V to 4.2 V input range) or from a single cell Ni-MH or dry cell (0.9 V to 2.2 V input range). The MPC18730 includes 2 DC-DC converters and 3 low drop out (LDO) linear regulators. The output voltage for each of the 5 outputs is set independently through a 3-wire serial interface. The serial interface also configures the versatile start-up control system of the MPC18730, which includes multiple wakeup, sleep, standby, and reset modes to minimize power consumption for portable equipment. In single cell Li-Ion applications two DC-DC converters are configured as buck (step-down) regulators. In single cell Ni-MH or dry cell applications, one DC-DC converter is configured as a boost (step-up) regulator, and the other as buck-boost regulator. The DC-DC converters’ output voltages have set ranges 1.613 V to 3.2 V at up to 120 mA, and 0.805 V to 1.5 V up to 100 mA through the serial interface. >>>

For automotive applications, optimum performance is achieved when driving between 1 and 3 LEDs at currents up to 350 mA.The low dropout voltage of the A6260 allows a single white LED to be driven safely, at full current, with a supply voltage down to 6 V.An enable input allows PWM dimming and can be used to enable low-current sleep mode.     The ZEZ-Silko range of capacitor includes a high voltage range intended for Power Factor Correction or harmonic filtering at 3.3KV to 11KV. This produces a low loss capacitor, (losses about 0.15W/KVAr) and wide operating temperature range of -30 to +50C.     8.62 BAR (125 PSI) COMPRESSOR SYSTEMFOR VEHICLE AIR BRAKE SYSTEMSThe Auto Pump Air Compressor system is a permanent split capacitor AC motor operating a single cylinder air compressor designed specifically for installation on vehicles with air brakes. During long idle periods of the vehicle when even the slightest seepage can cause an air brake system pressure to drop below the brake lockup pressure, the Auto Pump automatically starts to maintain the pressure.The Auto Pump motor is directly coupled to the compressor section eliminating all belts and pulleys assuring long life and reliable operation. A heavy duty, fixed set-point pressure switch starts the compressor when the pressure switch drops below 7.58 BAR (110 PSI) and stops the compressor when 8.62 BAR (125 PSI) is attained. A small pressure gage indicates the Auto Pump output pressure and helps with installation and trouble-shooting. The moisture trap provided permits routine draining of accumulated moisture in the Auto Pump output line. >>>

    LOW VOLTAGE DRY TYPE CAPACITORS The ZEZ-Silko range of capacitors includes this low voltage dry type intended for use in power factor correction systems. Theyaretrue3phaseunitsandareavailablein40Ov,415v,44Ovand525vrating. They are constructed using MKP technology, which consists of metallised polypropoline film wound to produce the required capacitance. It is then enclosed in a cylindrical aluminium case, dry filled, sealed and connected to terminals on the top. Discharge resistors are fitted to reduce the charge to 50v after 1 minute. The dielectric is self-healing and low loss. Dielectric losses are about 0.2W/KVAr, total losses about 0.5W/KVAr. The case is fitted with an overpressure device, which disconnects the elements before a safe pressure can be exceeded. The units comply with IEC831-1, 2/87. The capacitors are designed for indoor use, IP20, but push-on covers with glands are available to improve this to 1P54. Mounting is by M12 threaded stud, 16mm long, on the base, which also provides means of earthing the unit. The capacitors may be mounted vertically or horizontally, allow some space for cooling air circulation. Also cables and space must allow 20mm movement of the lid for the pressure disconnection system to operate. The capacitors should be fused at 2A per KVAr, using fuses with gG characteristics. >>>
