The A6260 is a linear, programmable current regulator providing up to 350 mA for driving high-brightness LEDs. The LED current, accurate to 4%, is set by a single low-power sense resistor. Driving
LEDs with constant current ensures safe operation with maximum possible light output. For automotive applications, optimum performance is achieved when driving between 1 and 3 LEDs at currents up to 350 mA.The low dropout voltage of the A6260 allows a single white LED to be driven safely, at full current, with a supply voltage down to 6 V.An enable input allows PWM dimming and can be used to enable low-current sleep mode. With an Alpha Pro charge regulator rest assured that the battery charge process will be handled safely and quickly. Power from the alternator is efficiently transferred to the batteries via the Mastervolt three-step charge method. It’s the ideal connection between alternator and battery.
The charge voltage is automatically adjusted if there is any risk of gas formation. Electronics permanently regulate voltage, ensuring that the battery is always kept in good condition. Using a Battery Mate or Battery Isolator in conjunction with an Alpha alternator makes it possible to easily charge two or three separate battery-sets simultaneously. LEDS on the regulator itself indicate the charge phase and an external setpoint can be used to adjust the charge voltage. This means simple monitoring and operating.
Installing and using is easy while included are six metres of cable, a telejack for connecting the regulator and a sensor for attaching the battery. Fasten connections serve to attach the cable to the alternator. This charge regulator is suitable for a Mastervolt alternator. Always consult your Mastervolt Energy Shop dealer or technician if you are planning to upgrade the alternator installation. Existing alternators can occasionally be combined with an Alpha Pro regulator.

HIGH VOLTAGE POWER CAPACITORS
The ZEZ-Silko range of capacitor includes a high voltage range intended for Power Factor Correction or harmonic filtering at 3.3KV to 11KV.
The capacitors are all-film dielectric impregnated with
Jarylec (M-DBT), a non-toxic, biodegradable, synthetic material with good electrical characteristics. This produces a low loss capacitor, (losses about 0.15W/KVAr) and wide operating temperature range of -30 to +50C.
Each capacitor element is protected by an internal fuse (can be omitted on request) and each unit has discharge resisters fitted. A 24v 2A pressure switch can be fitted in the lid of the capacitor if requested. Terminal screws are M12, earthing screws are MI0.
All units comply with IEC 871-1-2/88.

The ZEZ-Silko range of capacitors includes this low voltage dry type intended for use in power factor correction systems.

They are constructed using MKP technology, which consists of metallised polypropoline film wound to produce the required capacitance. It is then enclosed in a cylindrical aluminium case, dry filled, sealed and connected to terminals on the top. Discharge resistors are fitted to reduce the charge to 50v after 1 minute.
The dielectric is self-healing and low loss. Dielectric losses are about 0.2W/KVAr, total losses about 0.5W/KVAr.
The case is fitted with an overpressure device, which disconnects the elements before a safe pressure can be exceeded. The units comply with IEC831-1, 2/87.
The capacitors are designed for indoor use, IP20, but push-on covers with glands are available to improve this to 1P54.
Mounting is by M12 threaded stud, 16mm long, on the base, which also provides means of earthing the unit. The capacitors may be mounted vertically or horizontally, allow some space for cooling air circulation. Also cables and space must allow 20mm movement of the lid for the pressure disconnection system to operate.
The capacitors should be fused at 2A per KVAr, using fuses with gG characteristics.
