This heater bolts to the top of a Q-Scope 250/350 translation stage. The sample is attached to a small sample plug which is inserted into the middle of the heater body. The temperature range of the sample may be set anywhere between room temperature and 250ºC via a digital temperature controller. When operated above 100ºC, water is passed through a water jacket at the perimeter of the heater body to extract excess heat from the area beneath the scanner. |
