Thousands of Pulsecom O3-4D1 DS1 Extension modules have been delivering DS1 services across America without the need for conventional, large and expensive systems. The O3-12D1 triples the density in the same form factor. The O3-12D1, like all Pulsecom Easy Access products, is self-contained and functionally optimized for service. There are no systems or common cards or software to stock, install and turn-up. Everything is accomplished in one module. capabilities". Pulsecom's patent pending "Optionless SONET" also eliminates the need for OC3/OC48 provisioning making turn-up fast and easy. Since this is true SONET, the network side of the fiber link can be integrated directly into a SONET mux. Pulsecom modules incorporate modular optics, so 1310nm wavelengths, single fiber transceivers, or CWDM transceivers can be selected on a site-by-site basis or easily changed to improve facility utilization.
