HYGIENIC DOORS - ENVIRO-PLAST GRP
Enviro-Plast GRP doors are made from a glass-reinforced polyester and have a smooth, seamless, non-porous finish. The Enviro-Plast is designed to be installed where a high degree of hygiene is
required, combined with a resistance to damp. It is particularly suited for use in laboratories, hospitals, aseptic rooms, dairies, pharmaceutical and food factories, supermarkets, swimming pools, saunas, abattoirs and kitchens. The GRP doors can be installed in all manner of hostile environments and will not harbour bacteria, absorb moisture, swell, rot, warp, dent, sag or corrode.The Enviro-Plast is light and easy to open, yet strong and durable. The built-in colour retains its attractive appearance without the need for painting and the door requires minimum maintenance. Two types of Enviro-Plast are available. K Type door is 40mm thick and consists of seamless grp around a polyurethane or fire-resistant core. Available as single or double action, with single or double leaves. S Type door has a thin blade of solid grp with a 40mm thick reinforcing spine, available as double action only on both single and double leaf doors.The GRP doors are available in fire-rated versions, tested to BS476. Options cover both single and double door sets, with a range of fire resistances from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

The full range of equipment with the patentend anti-crash system, the standard light grille and
automatic emergency opening via a counterweight (in the event of a power failure) make this flexible foil-sheet door a safe internal door for areas with a high frequency of customer traffic.
Anti-crash system with automatic restart
Thanks to the lightweight, highly durable curtain and the extremely flexible bottom section the door is back operating again within seconds of a crash. This high level of flexibility makes the use of a closing edge safety device superfluous. The standard equipping with a light grille ensures safe, reliable monitoring of the traffic path.
With relay inversion or frequency converter controls
Besides the proven inversin relay controls (0.8 m/s) we also offer this door with frequency converter controls for amedium opening speed of 1.2 m/s.
Curtain variations
Anti-static fabric curtain, without vision panel as standard. On request with a vision panel, approx. 550 mm high, from 1200 mm above the finished floor line at no surcharge.

Besides the insertion of portholes, particular windows and ventilation grilles, our folding doors can be equipped with pedestrian doors used for frequentpassages, sparing to open the main door if it is not necessary. HIGH SPEED FOLDING GATES
The product line covers doors of the dimension of 1.200 x 2.000 mm for an emergency fire brigade door to folding doors in immense dimension for hangars. It seems that there are no appliction limits
for this special door. The opening speeds differ from 3.5 sec. to 12 sec. in the self-carrying execution. The folding door is available in single sheet or insulated double sheet version, as well as in total glazing or as a safety door in bulletproof and burgalarproof execution. This door can be used as fire brigade alarm door, as a cargo door in airports, as a door in incinerating plants or just as an industrial door. The oldest of these doors built by our company have been in function for more than 35 years without any complaints by our customer. In this context we have to mention the automobile industry where extremely short production times have to be combined with speed and extremely solid and robust kind of door.

Gates for the German Bundesbahn
The basic construction of train railway /tram doors is a 4 wing folding door which is executed in a self supporting construction. The doors are in steel galvanised execution, ground painted and can be coated in RAL colours. Depending on this construction there is no lower track for the door which could hinder the rails of the train. In addition there can be an upside window to let the train cables pass through the door (above the door or inside the door) which can be equipped with gfk-material (or different acc. to the choice of the customer)to have proper insulation .Earth leads between the door wings complete the safety feature in case of a cable failure. The drive unit can be electro-mechanical, electro - pneumatical or electro-hydro-pneumatical. All systems are in use. Depending on the dimensions of the doors the opening speed is between 5 – 8 sec. All safety features for protection of persons are included and/or depend on the customer requirements. This applies as well for command units such as remote controls, radar, infrared etc. Unusual partition of the wings are possible on request.

BRI-FLEX H2 W5 DOUBLE SIDED VEHICLE RESTRAINT SYSTEM
The BRI-FLEX H2 W5 double sided Vehicle Restraint System has been developed to give a high degree of impact safety for central reserve / median applications. BRI-FLEX has been fully tested to the
requirements of the European Standard EN1317 and has a Highways Agency ‘acceptance for use’ on the UK Motorway and Trunk Road Network.
BRI-FLEX has a system working width classification of W4 and along with a vehicle intrusion of W5, its system width of only 835 mm facilitates its use on narrow central reserve medians. Data and experience gained from the development of a variety of different vehicle restraint systems has resulted in the BRI-FLEX system achieving an impact severity level (formally known as ASI) of class A, achieving the lowest (and hence safest) classification for impacting vehicles and therefore providing a higher level of protection. This is in comparison to other solid concrete / rigid systems that are only ASI C.
Bri-Flex is a hybrid development of two successful Hill & Smith VRS’s, H1/H2 FLEXBEAM PLUS and Brifen wire rope and hence the system components are well proven stock items.
