The Model 233v3 Pulsed DC Controller has been designed to operate with the Series 200 range of ionisers for ESD applications. The 233v3 is light, compact and features lockable plug and socket connectors for quick release. It also provides the option of Steady State DC (SSDC) output. Features Benefits Extended pulse rate/frequency range (0.5 to 20 Hz). Lower frequencies enable emitted ions to travel extended distances and thereby increase the effective range of static control. There is also greater flexibility in the positioning of bars. Extended balance adjustment. Finer, more accurate adjustment of ion balance. Through hole POT adjustment controls. Prevents inadvertent adjustment by operators after installation set up. Integral air connections supplied as standard. Easy, tidy connection of air supply pipe(s). • For use with 8100 series • Direct control of one or more of any of the Thales HF or V/UHF SDR products • Multi-function control - all selectable modes and radio characteristics of each channel in both receive and transmit • Diagnostics - monitors all SDR ancillary equipment at product and system level • Portability - LCT software available for third party hardware The LCT8100 Local Control Terminal utilizes an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI), which, together with the Local Audio Terminal LAT8100, allows users to access, control and manage the 8100 Series Software Defined Radio (SDR) system. SDR CONTROL The Thales HF and V/UHF SDRs are the primary components of an end-to-end naval-based radio system. SDRs benefit from the attributes of a versatile programmable and configurable multi-channel exciter-receiver, offering voice, data, messaging and e-mail support. Based on the principle of open system architecture, the design provides a fully supported software environment enabling ready adaptation or enhancement as operational needs change. To complement the advanced features of the SDR, its internal Management Information Base (MIB) can be accessed both from an external Communication Management System and from the highly capable SDR Local Control Terminal LCT8100. SOFTWARE The LCT8100 software presents system information in a clear and easy-to-read manner. Related features are indicated by the use of an intuitive user interface. Control and diagnostic information are presented in identical graphical styles. The LCT application software can be readily hosted on a customer’s preferred PC platform running a Microsoft operating environment. HARDWARE The LCT8100 hardware is an industry standard robust PC based platform. Optional facilities include rack mounting on telescopic runners for installation in a standard 19’’ cabinet. Combined with the Local Audio Terminal LAT8100, this arrangement, when retracted, occupies just 3U of cabinet height. LOCAL AUDIO TERMINAL The Local Audio Terminal LAT8100 is a unit associated with the LCT8100 which provides operator voice access to an SDR radio system via the switched audio bus. Several LCTs can be connected to the network depending on the system topology.
