The flat bed scanner provides an alternative method of delivering documents to the printer where PC connection is not possible. The optional DP-RIP makes this GDI printer postscript compatible and connectable to Apple Mac computers. Once the document is in the machine there are 5 exposure settings and process modes to obtain optimum print quality. Zooming from 50-500%, electronically controlled registration adjustment, shoadow erasure function and multi-up print modes offer the user the ability to adjust their documents to precise requirements. There are 5 separate speed settings ranging from 45-120 pages per minute for rapid printing of documentation. Paper stocks ranging from 53 gsm NCR up to 210 gsm card can all be handled as easily as common 80 gsm paper.
