The Frontier Pitts crash-rated Terra Mount Blocker model ATTBm is available in lengths up to 5000mm, with a lifted height of 810mm or 1100mm. The Terra Mount is mounted on the road, therefore no foundations are required.

The Terra Mount Blocker’s features allow the road surface fixing to be prepared within 2 hours. The Terra Mount Blocker can be bolted to existing concrete slab which should have a minimum depth of 150mm. As health and safety has always been the main priority with any Frontier Pitts product, the Terra Mount Blocker has been designed with special pre formed ramps which allow safe passage by all users; vehicles, motor bikes or pedestrians.
The blockers external pump unit can raise and lower the unit in under 2 seconds. Additional features include a power fail hand pump and special anti burst hydraulic hoses. The front skirt also provides safe operation of the product.
The test was conducted to prove the arresting capability of a Frontier Pitts Terra Mount Blocker when impacted with a 7500kg test vehicle at a speed of 80km/hour (50mph). In accordance with PAS 68-69 2007 and the Department of State test standard SD-STD-2.01 Revision A, Certification Class K12, a new style 18 ton lorry was used to act as the test vehicle.
On impact the Terra Mount Blocker brought the vehicle to a complete halt with zero penetration onto site or past the impacted face of the unit. The Terra Mount Blocker did not move on impact and remained fully functional with the operating mechanism continuing to raise and lower, without the need for repair. The Terra Mount Blocker surpassed the standards for PAS 68-69 2007 and the Department of State Certification K12.

The Terra Shallow Blocker was successfully crash tested in accordance with PAS 68:2007. To the amazement of the Security Consultants and Civil Engineers present, the Terra Shallow Blocker had been installed just 52 hours prior to testing.
