By specifically focusing on particle kinetics, fluid dynamics and radiation distribution of the UV reactor,our engineers have taken a design pioneered by Hanovia in municipal drinking
water systems and produced a product that delivers a precise, controlled, UV dose offering disinfection capacities from 1 to 50 m3/h.
Delivering an optimal combination of low power, low hydraulic pressure drop and high micro-organism kill rate, the AF3 Series can be installed either horizontally or vertically, offering the ultimate in installation flexibility, whilst delivering the performance you need to ensure your water is safe.
Hanovia has been a pioneer in designing and manufacturing high quality UV lamps and products for over 80 years. The innovative AF3 is a continuation of this tradition.
A version built to cGMP requirements is available for pharmaceutical and sanitary applications. Constructed using highly polished stainless steel and FDA approved seals, all welds are full penetration and 'bug-trap' free. Tri-clamp connections also make it simple to disassemble and verify cleanliness.

The polychromatic spectral output of the Photon arc tubes
makes them ideal for the treatment of a wide variety of applications. Chemical coumpound breakdowns and organism DNA's response curves match exactly the Hanovia lamp broad spectral output.
The UV treatment chamber is designed to ensure optimal reaction between the liquid to be treated and the high UVC output lamps. Hanovia offers a modular design on the inlet and outlet connections of the treatment chamber to suit your requirements, hence reducing your connection costs.
The Photon control is an interactive micro-processor controlled system for optimum ease of operation and traceability. It features a menu driven system software with membrane switches for selective display of parameters and adjustment of set points. The UV intensity monitor responds specifically to the UVC output of Hanovia lamps.

UVD Series
Utilising Hanovia’s world class UV disinfection technology, the UVD range is specially designed for disinfection of small water supplies.
Well and spring water is always contaminated
with micro-organisms which should be removed. Protection against disease from the water supply requires the decontamination of all the water used for drinking, cooking, washing up and personal hygiene.
UV is a proven solution for protection against harmful microorganisms such as E.coli and is effective even against chlorine immune microorganisms such as Cryptosporidium.
