    Push-in pneumatic fittings made of nickel plated brass with universal thread This is the well-known F100 serie, in which the male threads have been created with a helical profile, representing the envelope of the profiles of the BSPT (conical gas) and NPTF threads. The result is an extremely short thread, which is screwed equally to female gas threads and to NPTF ones. The seal between the male and female threads is created with a PTFE gasket, housed in a groove to the rear of the thread with a profile according to the UNI 5711-65 standard. - Extreme versatility in use, which no longer requires the management of different fittings for different threaded seats. - Because the screwing on involves practically the entire male thread, which completely disappears into the female one, the PTFE gasket produces a special sealing effect between the external environment and the internal part of the application seat: this makes the F100/U serie of fittings even more suitable for applications where special consideration must be paid to the hygienic conditions (the food sector for example). - Extremely rapid assembly: the short thread requires only a few tightening turns to make the seal because the PTFE gasket is continuous, the fitting can be re-used several times, without leaving particles or crumbs (as in the case of traditional liquid sealing products) that may pollute the passing fluid. >>>

    Pipe fittings of the series 200 by olab belong to the group of cutting ring fittings (or compressive fittings). They match two functions in one single element: - they are pressure-tight; - they are used to hold pipes in place. T hese two functions are ensured by the cutting ring. When the nut is tightened on the pipe fitting body, the conical seat of the cutting ring causes a compressive strength around the pipe, which is then locked in place and pressure-tight. These pipe fittings can be used with different types of pipes (copper, teflon and similar pipes); however, with thin pipes or pipes made up of soft materials, we suggest using a sleeve (our item no. 247) to be mounted onto the pipe end, that prevents the cutting ring from collapsing the pipe during tightening. The maximum working pressure depends on the size and type of pipe being used. As no gaskets are installed onto the fitting, working temperatures depend on the material used for the pipe. Thanks to the large range of pipe fittings of the series 200 by olab in the straight, bulkhead, bend, "T" versions, and swivelling eyelets, a large number of configurations is possible.
