MobileDrop is a semiautomatic and fully integrated system for measuring contact angles and surface free energies on samples of virtually any size. Its low weight, operation with a notebook and simple handling mean that the instrument is a flexible and reliable partner for quality assurance, both in the lab and on-site.

The MobileDrop from KRÜSS has achieved a new dimension in mobility and simplicity for the contact angle measuring technique. The measuring head only weighs 500 g and can be comfortably operated with only one hand.
The compact space within the housing is occupied by high-precision components: prism optics, an “intelligent” camera and a fast exchangeable dosing unit.
Operation with a notebook ensures fully independent on-site use of the instrument.
The ergonomic measuring head is placed on the sample, which can be of almost any size. The dosing lever lowers the needle and deposits the liquid – the drop volume can be adjusted in 2 µl steps.
A prism arrangement transfers the outline shape of the drop via the builtin camera to the connected notebook, where the time-proven KRÜSS SW23 (DSA2) software evaluates the drop video.
A range of different liquids can be deposited in quick succession - the DSA2 uses the drop shapes to determine the contact angle and then calculates the surface free energy from it. KRÜSS has incorporated the most important evaluation techniques for contact angles and SFE in the software.
A comprehensive substance database and comfortable data management round off the program.

CANIN+ CORRISON ANALYZING INSTRUMENT
The CANIN+ Corrosion Analyzing Instrument is used for the non-destructive detection of corrosion of the reinforcement bars in concrete building elements. Corrosion can be detected by the CANIN+
before it becomes visible on the surface, and before major damage has occured.
The individual rod or wheel electrodes as well as the multiple electrode system are available to meet specific testing requirements. CANIN+ is particularly suited to measure and store corrosion potentials of very large areas like bridge decks.
Data can be printed directly via a separate printer. The Windows XP based software CANIN ProVista allows time saving data transfer to PC. The measured values are displayed in graphs and can be edited. Together with statistical diagrams they represent the basis for an economic interpretation of the results.

a variety of field installation, performance and maintenance benefits:
Precision Performance - Optimizes the sizing of actuator to valve and ensures reliable performance to specification.
Virtually emissions-free - The ActraCam design incorporates ASME Section VIII gas-over-oil interface tanks in the control circuit. During power operation, the appropriate tank is pressurized. Immediately after completing the valve stroke, the tank is depressurized and the power gas is recirculated into the opposite tank. Both tanks are fitted with oil/gas separation baffles so the released power gas is free of oil-mist contamination.
Valve Acceleration/Deceleration Control - ActraCam's design allows for controlled ball rotary acceleration and deceleration to protect against valve and actuator damage. The helix angle is designed to reduce rotary speed and shock loads while allowing the actuator piston speed to remain constant.
Space and Energy Efficient - Modular components of the control system are mounted in a unique manifold with the logic and power gas circuits segregated. This design reduces the number of connections and potential leak paths, enhances field operation safety and significantly reduces space requirements and gas consumption.
