The Molenaar magnetic palletizer is a very versatile semi-automatic full can / jar palletizer. In design it consists of the following; an accumulation and pattern-forming conveyor and a permanent magnet transfer plate fixed to an arm that transfers a layer of containers to the pallet station.
Two hoist designs are available, the first incorporates a motorized two-point hoist lifting the pallet to the transfer point and then dropping one container height with each layer that is transferred until the pallet height is reached. This design offers 3 layers / min. The second design drops the magnetic platen by means of 4 web belts onto the pallet achieving 2 layers per minute. An operator initiates each cycle and places layer pads between each layer.
It is possible to reverse the machine cycle converting it from a magnetic palletizer into a magnetic de-palletizer. >>>
H.G. Molenaar and Robotics Systems SA have recently joined forces.
