The system collects a range of data regarding use of the truck and provides a real-time link between the forklift truck in the plant and a PC in the office. Designed to reduce operator, equipment and product damage, use of the ShockWatch ImpactManager SC results in lower maintenance and repair costs, along with greater productivity due to less injury and downtime. The ShockWatch ImpactManager SC is mounted directly onto the materials handling equipment, and in the event of a collision, exceeding a pre-defined threshold, an alarm is activated.
