IMPACTMANAGER ID
ShockWatch ImpactManager ID is an innovative device for controlling access, monitoring usage and detecting impacts on the forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment. In use throughout
the world, the ShockWatch ImpactManager ID helps thousands of companies improve both profitability and productivity by reducing incidents due to careless vehicle operation resulting in damage and injury.
ShockWatch ImpactManager ID is a compact unit ready for mounting in the vehicle cab. It detects impacts and records event details such as date, time and driver ID. This data is then downloaded via various interface options including an iButton and Data Ranger.
Impact monitoring capability comprises a patented, fully adjustable, 360 degree impact sensor. Once a collision is detected, the time, date and driver ID are recorded and stored in the memory for future downloading and further investigation and analysis. In addition to monitoring and recording, the ShockWatch ImpactManager can be programmed to immobilise the truck once an impact has occurred. There is also an option for activating a siren or truck horn either continuously or for a specified period of time. This is a particularly useful safety feature to alert other personnel to check for injury. The truck can also be completely disabled.

IMPACTMANAGER RF
ShockWatch ImpactManager RF is designed for companies wanting to safeguard their staff, equipment and facilities in areas where forklift trucks are in use. The system collects a range of data
regarding use of the truck and provides a real-time link between the forklift truck in the plant and a PC in the office. With the ShockWatch ImpactManager RF organisations can now seamlessly integrate the system into their existing network and it is currently the only system on the market that conforms completely to the 802.11 standard, without the need for modification.
ShockWatch ImpactManager RF is attached to the forklift truck and transmits event data via a wireless network to the accompanying software. Users can monitor an unlimited number of trucks and these can be programmed to send data straight away or to wait until a number of pre-defined events have occurred. However, with incidents that have important safety implications, such as impacts, then an alert is sent immediately.
For managers, ShockWatch ImpactManager RF provides a means to control access and identify specific users. This means that only trained operators will have access for use. By coding a simple to use iButton operator’s key, only authorised key holders will be able to activate the ignition system. The PC software will also log details including relevant certifications held and will notify the manager when these are due to expire. Maintenance can also be easily scheduled using the software, with alerts being issued when required.

IMPACTMANAGER SC
ShockWatch ImpactManager SC is a simple, compact, cost-effective impact detection device for forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment. Designed to reduce operator, equipment and
product damage, use of the ShockWatch ImpactManager SC results in lower maintenance and repair costs, along with greater productivity due to less injury and downtime.
The ShockWatch ImpactManager SC is mounted directly onto the materials handling equipment, and in the event of a collision, exceeding a pre-defined threshold, an alarm is activated. This means that the time and point of impact is immediately identifiable and corrective action can be taken.
As well as providing timely impact information, use of the ShockWatch ImpactManager SC increases operator accountability and improves driver behaviour. For health and safety managers, installation of impact detection equipment reinforces safe vehicle operations and procedures without supervisory presence.
Real-time impact detection is made possible through the use of patented, user-adjustable sensors and a tamper-proof barrel lock enables and resets the unit. A quick check of operational status can be made through use of a test button.
Five models are available from the SC1000 stand-alone version run by rechargeable batteries to the SC1080 that is powered by the forklift battery and uses a remote panel for mounting within the vehicle.
