BUFFERS - HI SERIES
Enidine Incorporated's Heavy Industry (HI Series) buffers safely protect heavy machinery and equipment during the transfer of materials and movement of products.
The large-bore, high-capacity
buffers are individually designed to decelerate moving loads under various conditions and in compliance with industry mandated safety standards. Control of bridge cranes, trolley platforms, large container transfer and transportation safety stops are typical applications. Industry-proven design technologies, coupled with the experience of a globally installed product base, ensure deliverable performance that exceeds customer expectations.
Prior to HI Series buffer manufacture, computer-simulated response curves are generated to model actual conditions, verify product performance, confirm damping characteristics and generate unique custom-orificed designs that accommodate multi-condition or specific damping requirements.
The HI Series of buffers by Enidine Incorporated feature a nitrogen-charged return system that allows for soft deceleration and positive return in a maintenance-free package. The oversize bore area results in optimal energy absorption capabilities and increased internal safety factors. Enidine Incorporated's state-of-the-art testing facilities ensure integrity of design and product performance.

Regufoam® is a high quality PUR foam specially developed and formulated to attenuate noise and vibrations from all sources ranging from general mechanical plant to hi-tech railway systems. Regufoam® products are highly adaptable, acoustically superior and are 100% recyclable.

Compliance wrists are proven components which are used to compensate for tolerances in the assembly of parts and workpieces as well as the insertion of parts in machines and workpiece carriers. The standard compliance wrists (Model FM-G) are used with small payloads and slow moving sequences. The installation of two overload bolts (Model FM-Ü) limits oscillations when travelling.
Further advantages are obtained with locking and torsion protection:
With shorter cycle times and higher handling speeds as well as with all insertion operations which take place horizontially, the compliance wrist should be equipped with a pneumatic cylinder (Model FM-P). The compliance can be locked with the integrated pneumatic cylinder when travelling. The installation of a torsion protection is necessary for transmission of torsion mements and when inertial forces lead to torsion moments with rotation and swivel movements. The FM with a torsion protection is especially wellsuited for precision work with transition and press fitting (Model FM-V).

Demonstrates most rotating machine faults
The VT-100 demonstration rotor rig has been designed to simulate vibration of rotating machines and
to demonstrate machine condition monitoring methods. It can be used for factory acceptance tests of monitoring and diagnostic systems too. Its good portability is excellent for in-field training purposes.
Using the set the vibration characteristics of rotating machines with antifriction bearings can be demonstrated. Different methods of balancing can be demonstrated and trained.
It is also possible to simulate unbalanced rotors, coupling misalignment, ball bearing faults, looseness and other typical machine faults, whilst allowing the user to demonstrate the capabilities of modern monitoring instrumentation to collect and analyze vibration measurements.
The demonstrator contains two identical rotors with ball bearings. The first rotor is driven by an AC electric motor with a flexible coupling. The second rotor is driven using a belt to provide variable speeds. An axial bearing is coupled to the second rotor to allow bearing fault simulation.
Angle scale on the rotor. Using angle scales allows easy demonstration of balancing with a strobe light. The profile of the rotors are prepared for installation of balancing weights.
Ball bearing faults detection. An axial ball bearing is coupled to the second shaft. Bearing housing allows adjust the bearing load. The axial bearing can be dismantled and different faults can be simulated.
Different speeds of both shafts allow demonstration of frequency analysis methods. Very useful is demonstration of strobe light capability, especially for belt drive faults.
The motor is equipped with a flexible coupling. It is possible to demonstrate not only vibration generated by a misaligned coupling, but also vibration excited by electromagnetic forces.
The VT-100 is delivered complete with a portable hard carry case, power cable, belt, adjusting tools, and balancing plastic.
