Low cost, mass production of aspheric lens is possible with our hot press fabrication process. Aspheric surface which is difficult to generate by conventional grind/ polish methods can be made by pressing softened glass into a die. This method is suited to fabricate many lenses with same quality, has a design flexibility and is inexpensive compared to other mechanical processes. We can also make larger diameter aspheric lenses. Isuzu Glass will manufacture the toolings based on your drawings and the formula, then produce the aspheric lens. Large Size of High Precision Aspheric Lens Many high performance/high facilities of electron/optical devices are developed all the time. For optical components’ markets demand various machineable techniques and advanced glass molding method, such a technology’s demand is getting stronger and stronger day by day. We succeed to make the Aspheric Lens that Size50mm, Peak to Value 50. We are keeping our effort to achieve Peak to Value 10(50) every day. Fire polished lens creates endless possibilities. Depending on the applications, we can offer a surface finish for scattering or yellow coloring and tempering. We can also process the other side of the fire polished surface for plano or radius finish.By using the fire polishing method, surface accuracy and brightness which is similar to the conventional ground / polished lens can be achieved. this method is best suited for the production of a flanged lens that is difficult to fabricate by conventional polishing methods. Using the specifications provided by a customer (drawings and mathematical formula for the curvature), we produce a mold and fabricate the lenses.
