The SPACIUM 3.O6 commuter train is a swift, flexible vehicle designed to provide maximum seating capacity, superior passenger comfort, improved access, and an attractive interior design. The cars feature: Comfortable, spacious interiors Cars are 3.06 m wide, a feat achieved by using 13.24 m short cars. Cars also feature five aligned seats that measure 490 mm at shoulder height, arm-rests, head-rests, and a spacious aisle. High capacity Based on the train's interior and the number of cars, between 800 and 1,000 passengers can be accommodated, over half of whom are seated. Superior access Large vestibules, combined with wide doors and gangways, provide excellent access for travellers and improve passenger flow. The train's entrance is positioned to match 920 mm high platforms, with end-cars accessible to wheelchairs from 920 mm high platforms. Striking interior design Panoramic windows and large gangways create a transparent and open atmosphere. Meanwhile, a modernized design offers smooth curves, vivid colours, and LED-based colour-changing lighting. Flexibility and speed SPACIUM 3.O6 can be adapted to meet the length of platforms with seven and eight car versions and features electric dual-voltage propulsion (1.5 kV DC and 25 kV AC). TRAXX AC electric locomotives The very reliable TRAXX AC locomotive is the foundation of the complete family of Bombardier TRAXX locomotives. The members of this family feature numerous identical elements, including the vehicle dimensions, machine room concept, brake equipment, bogies, signalling system and driver’s cab. Bombardier TRAXX AC locomotives are modular electric locomotives incorporating three-phase asynchronous propulsion technology on standard gauge 15kV and 25 kV networks. TRAXX AC locomotives are designed to be compatible with Europe's future ETCS/ERTMS train control and safety systems. They have been homologated in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, Sweden and Denmark, and will be homologated in the near future in Hungary and Norway. The TRAXX AC is manufactured in large numbers for Deutsche Bahn, SBB Cargo, BLS, CFL, many European private railway companies and leasing companies as Angel Trains, CB Rail and MRCE. >>>

TRAXX DC ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVES

As a platform-based product, the TRAXX DC locomotive has a high degree of commonality with the multi-system TRAXX MS, the TRAXX AC and the TRAXX DE locomotives. This platform offers the highest levels of operational reliability and maintainability thanks to highly proven and standardized modular subsystems. TRAXX DC locomotives have been ordered for Italy and Spain. While these locomotives were developed specifically for freight services with a 3kV DC supply voltage, they also have all the components required for passenger services (train busbar, UIC equipment, etc.). Renfe Operadora (Spain) awarded Bombardier with an order for 100 TRAXX F140 DC locomotives. They are equipped with the Spanish ASFA signalling system and, for the first time, with TRAXX broad gauge bogies. For its part, Trenitalia Cargo ordered 42 units of the TRAXX F160 DC from Bombardier Transportation. The locomotive has been homologated for freight transportation at a maximum speed of 160 km/h, and can be deployed for passenger operations at a maximum speed of 200 km/h. The leasing company Angel Trains also placed an order for the TRAXX F140 DC. This locomotive is equipped with the Italian SCMT systems and fulfills all operational requirements in Italy. >>>

TRAXX DE DIESEL-ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVES

The TRAXX P160 DE and the TRAXX F140 DE are the latest members of the Bombardier TRAXX locomotive family. They are modular diesel locomotives incorporating three-phase asynchronous propulsion technology. The passenger locomotive is operated by Landesnahverkehrsgesellschaft Niedersachsen, while the freight locomotive has been ordered by the leasing company CB Rail. Although the two TRAXX DE locomotives are operating in Germany only, bear in mind that since 1947, Bombardier has delivered more than 2,800 diesel locomotives in approximately 100 countries. Furthermore, the TRAXX DE locomotives benefit from the platform's many advantages. The level of component commonality between the TRAXX DE locomotive and the TRAXX AC locomotive is more than 70 percent. This synergy translates into considerable potential savings for operators, largely thanks to low operating and maintenance costs, and substantial savings in the provision of spare parts. TRAXX MS MULTI-SYSTEM LOCOMOTIVES

The TRAXX MS locomotive is specifically designed for cross-border services. It operates between Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, and between Germany and Poland, while other locomotives cross the borders between Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. The TRAXX MS has been ordered predominantly by leasing companies, notably Angel Trains, CB Rail and MRCE. However, SBB Cargo also utilizes it for cross-border traffic between Switzerland and Italy. The train protection systems use the technology and core components of the ETCS, a European signalling system. The locomotive is based on the proven platform concept of the TRAXX locomotive family, meaning it has a high degree of commonality with the multi-system TRAXX AC, the TRAXX DC and the TRAXX DE locomotives. It is a four-axle, multi-system 5600 kW locomotive able to operate on standard gauge railway lines electrified with 15 kV 16.7 Hz, 25 kV 50 Hz, 3 kV DC and 1,5 kV DC. It has been homologated for freight transportation at a maximum speed of 140 km/h. >>>
