Postbox
PostBox .Net is a software tool developed to help integrate Traka32 with third party databases.
Whilst Traka23 is provided with an easy to use Import database to help with the initial population of the Traka database with User records etc, the ongoing maintenance of User records often requires the manual update of both the key management database as well as the access control database.
PostBox has been designed to automate this function. Requiring some development by the third party software suppliers, PostBox provides a receiving area for CSV or XML data generated by the third party to a set of rules. So for example as user records are added or changed within the third party data base, so these changes are sent to the PostBox. The PostBox application then checks on a regular basis of say every hour, to see if there is any data within the PostBox. If there is, Postbox collects the data and automatically includes this within the Traka32 database and optionally at the same time updates the data contained within each relevant Traka cabinet.

ASPIRE2 is a Windows®-based application that aids the specification and design of pipe networks for VESDA® air sampling smoke detectors. It provides the designer with tools to speed the design process and ensure optimum network performance and installation quality. ASPIRE2 also makes implementation of the design easy. 4 easy steps to effective air sampling smoke detection
The performance of an air sampling smoke detection system is dependent upon the design of the pipe network used to transport air back to the smoke detector. The ASPIRE2 software requires only 4 steps to achieve a high performance pipe network:
Step 1 - Use the Pipe Design Wizard to quickly create a pipe network that is appropriate for the building or area.
Step 2 - Enter the performance criteria you wish to achieve e.g. transport time, sensitivity etc.
Step 3 - Use the AutoBalance function to automatically adjust the sample hole sizes to achieve the required performance.
Step 4 - Generate the Bill of Materials to assist quoting and ordering for the job. Generate the Installation Data Pack (IDP) to provide all the information necessary to correctly install the pipe network.

Traka32
Traka32 is the support software for Traka cabinets. Whilst Traka cabinets do not need to be on-line to the support software, the software is required to configure and maintain the cabinets. The software does not need a dedicated computer and can run as an application on any Window 98 or later computer.
The software gives a graphical representation of the cabinets and allows the user to easily see what activity is happening on each Traka cabinet. The software is used to set up the Users and the Key details and to record long term the events that have taken place. The software will also record any alarms that have been activated, perhaps to show who left the door open or if the power supply has failed.
The software has a wide range of options such as Key Booking where keys can be reserved and Fault Logging allowing maintenance staff to manage reported faults perhaps with the vehicle fleet. An extensive range of reports are included with the ability to tailor their design to suit the user.
Login admin rights allow each user to have their own access profile, perhaps to only access specific regions so for example a police officer cannot see the activity of covert vehicles in other regions.
Traka32 contains its own highly detailed on-line Help facility covering all aspects of the system from installation to use and is maintained to match each software release. Traka32 is also supplied with an easy to use Excel spreadsheet template to help with the initial import of existing User and Key details.
Traka32 is available with the Access 2000 or SQL Server 2000 database to suit the size and network requirements of the customer.
Traka32 software is inherently supplied in all the major European languages which automatically match the Windows Regional Settings.
