The UDP30 interface allows communication between a PC and any device equipped with a DUP port. The DUP port is a proprietary interface, developed by LAM Technologies, designed to simplify its products setting and to allow a rapid reading, and in real time, of the diagnostics information. The connection with the PC is by USB port from which the interface also takes the power supply to work (no external power supply is needed). Differently from a common serial connection, the USB port offers a greater speed and an intrinsic flow control. The bundled software is designed for

the following operating systems: Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003 server. The software UDP Commander is the natural companion of the UDP30 interface.
