Alfacryl FR Intumescent Acrylic is a one-part fire resistant gun applied joint sealant. The formulation is based on an emulsion acrylic, which gives a firm, but flexible seal to joints in a variety of fire rated structures. The product has been designed to provide optimum sealing and application performance.with outstanding fire resistance. Alfacryl FR Intumescent Acrylic has been extensively tested to BS 476 part 20 and is capable of achieving over 4 hours fire resistance in joint widths up to 50mm wide. Typical Uses Alfacryl FR Intumescent Acrylic is intended for

sealing joints, voids and irregular holes in fire walls, partitions and other structures and for maintaining integrity when sealing around pipe and cable penetrations. It is also ideally suited for perimeter pointing around fire door frames and windows. The product can also be used as an acoustic sealant.
