This type of exchanger has been designed for use on movable machines where battery feed is insufficient or when exchangers with direct current supply are inadequate to produce high thermic yields. The radiative unit is of aluminium because this material is a very good conductor; providing high thermic yields and relatively compact over-all dimensions. Thanks to the particular construction of the radiative unit the exchangers of the series APL cope well with water hammer conditions which, at peak values, must not exceed the minimum allowable dynamic pressure of 20 bar. The maximum allowable static pressure is of 35 bar. It is recommended to fit a by-pass valve to avoid extreme back-pressures, particularly when the equipment is started with cold oil. For good exchanger working practice some oil rates are indicated in the tables. A very low flow rate oil speed creates considerable yield losses whereas a flow rate in excess of the suggested maximum causes pressure loss and does not substantially increase the thermal yield. The yield curves indicate the specific exchange capacity in kcal/h°C or in kW/°C subject to the different oil rates. To calculate the heat quantity that different exchangers are able to disperse it is sufficient to multiply such capacity by the difference between the required oil temperature and the summer ambient temperature. All components have been carefully chosen to ensure a reliable product. Fans are metallic, as are the protection grids for the hydraulic motor. Upon request a motor support can be supplied which prevents the drive shaft from radial stress. A thermostat with IP 65 protection and calibrated 47°C or 60°C can be supplied. To determine the correct air-oil exchanger we can supply a calculation program on CD-rom; by completing certain data it is possible to determine the correct exchanger and to obtain all the necessary parameters. The air-oil exchangers can be used to cool other kinds of fluids compatible with aluminium. For all applications, with the exception of oil cooling, it is recommended to consult our Technical Department. >>>

Almost every pneumatic tool would have the max. torque at around 6 bar. Higher pressures (which is often the fact as many users just plug in the tool and use the prevailing working pressure f. inst. 8 or more bar) is just waist of energy and money. It would not give more torch - on the contrary - it is just changing into heat. And many available pneumatic tools on the market can only withstand a max. pressure of 8 bar. If the user dismount the hose from the tool or outlet directly a residual pressure would still prevail on the secondary side of the regulator. This residual pressure could make the pneumatic tool to work for a short period of time. An unintentional activation of the tool could have desastrous consequences - no matter the type of pneumatic tool. The worst incident that can happen is on a pneumatic tacker, nailgun or the like. An unintentional activation on the trigger f. example can result in 5 - 10 shots. No reason to say that bad enjuries would be the result. >>>

DESCRIPTION Series W2... poppet valves are self- contained cartridge units mounted in a body with an industry standard ISO 4401 size 3 manifold-mounting surface. They operate on the proven guided poppet principle and the guide stem requires only one seal. Coils can be replaced or changes to a different voltage and current (AC to DC or vise-versa) while the hydraulic system is pressurized. The 3 way / 2 position (3/2) and 4 way / 3 position (4/3) units can be supplied with poppets having closed crossover switching characteristics. These versions (all ports are isolated during valve change over) ensures no loss of pressure during switching. This is an important benefit in accumulator, low volume and clamping systems.
