HIGH EFFICIENCY PLEATED PAPER FILTER CARTRIDGES - M SERIES
Facet M Series high efficiency pleated paper filter cartridges are designed to effectively remove solid contaminants such as rust, dirt, scale, granular and other types of solids. These cartridges
known as the MP Series high efficiency filter cartridges are constructed to meet the demanding requirements of the industrial filter market. Media with high efficiencies throughout the life of the cartridges are available in ratings of 0.5 to 75 microns. The filtration of potable liquids is not recommended with this series of filter cartridges.
Facet also offers a MPM Series multimedia, pleated extended area, depth filter cartridge for removing colloidal, slimy, or sludge type solids, as well as extremely fine solids, from process streams. They are available in 0.5, 1, and 2 micron ratings. The combination of multimedia pleated paper fiberglass sheets provides a unique depth filter with a large surface area. Our pleated paper filter media is made from a variety of natural and synthetic fibers. The fibers are bonded using various resins to provide excellent filtration and solids holding characteristics.

FILTERS WITH HYDRAULIC VACUUM
NOVOTECNIC has developed the type TADE HYDRAULIC VACUUM filters, for filtration of medium to large flows emulsions, synthetic solutions and other low viscosity liquids for which a medium to low
degree of filtration is required.
This type of filter consists of a dredged tank with a calibrated filtering grid at the bottom, below which is the vacuum chamber form where the filtered liquid is extracted by taking advantage of the vacuum produced by the suction of the distribution pumps.
Depending on the quality of filtration required, this type of filter can work using the actual grid, at the bottom of the dredged tank, as a filtering element or alternatively, a filtering fabric band is introduced between the scrapers of the dredged tank and the filtering grid.
The HYDRAULIC VACUUM filters are used in machining processes where the type of sludge produced has a low clogging tendency, as in the case of machined steel or aluminum sward.
Until some years ago, they were also used for filtration of cutting oils, but the new technologies have superseded their use for this purpose and precoat filters are now used.

FEATURES
Graymills Superflo ink filters are designed
to overcome the typical pressure drop and reduced ink flow due to clogging that occurs with ordinary filters. A permanent magnet (optional megaMAG available) suspended over the intake port traps ferrous particles which find their way into the ink, and diffuses the flow outward into the filter screen flutes. Filtered material is trapped on the inside of the removable/reusable stainless steel filter cartridge. To clean, just remove the cartridge. All the contaminants come out with it. Self draining. No wasted ink or messy leftovers to deal with.

MICRO FILTER
Micro filters for compressed air are used for separating oil aerosols, moisture, solid dust particles and other pollutants from compressed air.
The AO micro filters with activated charcoal are used
in industries where special requirements for the pureness of compressed air are enforced. Activated charcoal in combination with other special materials not only separates pollutants and oil from compressed air but also gets rid of the taste and smell.
Polluted and oil-contaminated compressed air normally moves from the inside out through a filter. The first section of the filter stops the solid particles whereas oil aerosols slow down and begin to merge into bigger drops. They are finally removed at the second section of the filter by seeping or rather dropping to the bottom of the casing. The size of particles separated by the filter and oil residue depend on the aperture of the filter media (refer to the table).
The use of top-quality micro filter cartridges is of great significance as regards the service life of consumers of compressed air and maintenance costs.
All the parts in a micro filter are made of materials that are resistant to corrosion, such as stainless steel, aluminium and plastics. First-class filtration materials ensure thorough cleaning of the air, long duration and reliable operation of the filter cartridge.
