120T AND 250T HYDRAULIC STRUT

120T AND 250T HYDRAULIC STRUT

MGF 120T and 250T Hydraulic Struts can be used in conjunction with the Super Tank Brace as cross struts, raking props or knee braces to reduce bending moments and defections. Similarly these Hydraulic Struts can be used without proprietary frames in applications such as basement propping. The hydraulic component starts at 1.5m long and has a stroke of 800mm. It can be built up to lengths in excess of 20m with modular bolt-on sections of 400mm x 400mm square hollow section. Component Weight Hydraulic Strut 1150kg Fixed Extension 250kg/m >>>

UNDERPINNING BRACKETS

UNDERPINNING BRACKETS

Standard-Duty Underpinning Brackets for Helical Pile Foundation System For use with 11/2" and 13/4" square shaft anchors, as specified below, each bracket is identified by the size stamped on the vertical gusset. Brackets also may be used in conjunction with Uplift-Restraint Bracket. Bracket comes complete with the hardware required for assembly of bracket; does not include concrete anchor bolts. The lifting assembly, consisting of the underpinning bracket and jacking tool, is designed to lift with hydraulic jack assist as shown below. However, if jack assist is not available, lifting can be done with the bolts of the bracket. The recommended method is to use a hydraulic jack with a load gauge to avoid exceeding the ratings of the brackets. >>>

MANHOLE BRACE

MANHOLE BRACE

MGF Manhole Brace is a traditional four-sided hydraulic bracing frame system to cover excavations between 1.7m and 6.1m in plan. Designed primarily for use in manhole excavations, they can also be used in a wide variety of other applications e.g. retaining walls, thrust pits, reception pits, r.c. pad foundations. The Manhole Brace range comprises six types of component, each with a varying span range and load carrying capacity, with the added advantage of being fully interchangeable to meet any specific size and load characteristic. The correct combination of components is then assembled to provide a frame of the required dimensions. The components can also be combined with the larger Tank Brace systems in specific applications. >>>

WALKWAY BRACKETS

WALKWAY BRACKETS

TIMBER SUPPORT BRACKETS These brackets are used to connect timbers or girder beams to helical piles. The split bracket design is more universal because beam thickness or tolerance is not a problem. Both of these brackets fit over an SS5 or SS150 square shaft and inside an RS2875.165 or RS2875.203 round shaft. Types of Timber Support Brackets: C110-0682 bracket has an ultimate rating of 10,000 lb in compression. C10-0736 is designed to attach to battered piles for lateral support. Standard finish is Hot Dipped Galvanized per ASTM A153. For different size shafts, mounting holes, or special finishes please contact your area CHANCE® Civil Construction Distributor for availability. >>>

MECHANICAL STRUTS

MECHANICAL STRUTS

MGF Mechanical Struts have been developed to accommodate the increasing requirements of the proprietary shoring market. Each strut is based on a bolted modular format, which combined with a mechanical or hydraulic jack, enables quick and simple adjustment in length. There are 2 types of strut available, each with a different load capacity. The Mechanical Superstrut has a maximum permissible axial load capacity of 540kN while the Mechanical Strut has a maximum permissible axial load capacity of 270kN. Each strut can provide unsupported spans from 1.4m to 16.0m. The struts can be used in single, multi-directional or raking strut applications and can be used without hydraulic bracing frames in non-standard applications such as propping concrete walls, contiguous piled walls and capping beams. Both types of Mechanical Struts can be combined with MGF Titan Brace and Tank Brace to increase the load capacities of the frames or to minimise deflection where this may be critical. Combined with the Tank Brace, the struts also provide a high capacity waler system. Component Weight Mechanical (270kN) Strut Jack 150kg Mechanical (540kN) Superstrut Jack 145kg Strut Extension (200 x 200) 70kg/m.run Superstrut Extension (300 x 300) 140kg/m.run >>>

TANK BRACE

TANK BRACE

MGF Tank Brace is our mid-range hydraulic bracing frame. It is based on an easily assembled modular format, which combined with the pinned corner joints makes the brace the most versatile, user-friendly proprietary shoring system in the industry. Tank Brace can be supplied in either Heavy Duty or Standard Duty stregth. Standard Duty Tank Brace provides significant improved strength capacities over traditional manhole brace frames with negligible increase in section size. Heavy Duty Tank Brace is ideal for excavations that require clear openings of up to 12.0m or in cases of higher load applications without significantly increasing the section size of the frame. The modular format allows any frame size to be quickly and easily achieved on site by assembling the sections together with pinned connections. The pinned corner joints enable a wide variety of shapes and sizes to be achieved as well as the conventional rectangular excavation. Both Tank Brace systems can be combined with MGF Mechanical Struts for higher load capacities, longer excavations and a high capacity waler system as well as MGF Manhole Brace for narrower excavations. Heavy Duty Tank Brace can also be combined with MGF Titan Brace for excavations that require a clear opening of up to 20.0m. >>>
