3S Full Face Masks

The MSA 3S full face mask, the most successful mask design in the world with over 5 millions units sold, has been upgraded. It offers even more user comfort and value, without changing the 3S Classic style! A softer face seal, enlarged harness attachment areas, a deeper chin cup combined with the proven classic design, the MSA 3S improves its efficiency whilst remaining one of the user’s favourite full face masks.
[Description]
[1. The Face Blank]
is made of a special rubber compound, softer and more comfortable than ever. It is not affected by creams or lotions. The wide sealing frame and a deeper chin stop assure a snug, comfortable fit and a tight seal. The 3S face blank is also available in yellow silicone [these versions are not affected by the upgrade], which does not irritate the skin and is particularly resistant to ageing. Some versions of the MSA 3S are also available in small size.
[2. The Lens]
moulded from impact resistant plastic [polycarbonate], is securely sandwiched between a groove in the face blank with a 2-part plastic lens ring. The large field of vision is another safety feature of the mask. Some lenses are also
available in silicate coated glass [V] or Triplex glass [Vg].
[3. The Connector]
is clamped into the face blank. It contains the threaded connection or the plug connection, the inhalation valve and the speech diaphragm. The speech diaphragm permits excellent communication.
[4. The Exhalation Valve]
is located in the lowest point of the face mask. Its large cross section results in a low exhalation resistance. Valve disc and valve cover are easily replaceable.
[5. The Harness]
enables quick donning and removal of the face mask without prior adjustment. A pressure-free fit is achieved also in combination with a protective helmet. With the carrying strap, the 3S can be carried in front of the chest, ready for use. Now, with the enlarged tabs of the f ace blank, the
MSA 3S harness is even easier to don.
[6. The Inner Mask]
provides an optimal air flow and keeps the lens free from fogging. It reduces the dead space effectively. The rolled edge cares for a soft and comfortable contact with the face.

3S Basic Plus
[Application]
The 3S Basic Plus is provided for use with respiratory protective filters [screw-type filters with thread to EN 148-1], assisted and non-assisted fresh air breathing apparatus, air-line systems and Powered-Air-Purifying-Respirators.
It is not approved for use by fire departments or as face piece in combination
with compressed-air breathing apparatus [certified to EN 136, Class 2].
[Design and Construction]
The 3S Basic Plus faceblank is made of a skin-compatible and largely age-resistant natural rubber formulation. It offers the same good properties the 3S mask series is known for. The acrylic [PMMA] lens is scratch-resistant and almost unbreakable. Moreover it offers a good field of vision.
The visor is fitted with a white lens frame and is easy to replace.

The S-Face Mask and Breathing Valve is the successor to the popular and reliable Spiromatic Face Mask and Breathing Valve.
The S-FFM and BV combines the reliability of Spiromatic with an improved breathing valve.
S-FACE MASK is comfortable and reliable, designed with Interspiros outstanding safety pedigree and innovative approach. The inner mask separates inhaled and exhaled air to minimize the danger of breathing exhaled carbon dioxide. An ambient air hatch with double action release mechanism enables the use of ambient air while in stand-by (first breath version also available).
S-BREATHING VALVE is a positive pressure valve with a secure connection to the face mask. The design of the demand valve supplies air only while inhaling, with instantaneous response to workload differences. The S-breathing valve supplies outstanding high volumes of air, also under extreme temperatures.

Depending on the application and individual head size, everybody has his
or her own requirements when it comes to respiratory protective equipment.
In order to meet every requirement, the Advantage 3000 comes in two versions, each with three different sizes.
The Advantage 3000 is available for single or twin filters,which means that both the classic filter with EN 148 standard thread or the Advantage filter series can be used.
The Advantage 3000 is incredibly quick to put on and simple to handle. Holding the mask with one finger, you put your chin into the chin stop and pull the harness over your head. Then you tighten the two lower straps. If necessary, you can adjust the upper side straps before putting on the mask.
This makes it quicker and simpler, without any painful hair pulling.
Even men with beards can benefit of a better protection with the Advantage 3000 because the new patented Advantage head harness guarantees a perfect facepiece-to-face fit.
Apart from functional efficiency we have also paid special attention to appearance. The narrow design is one feature. A large, optically corrected eye glass ensures clear, undistorted vision,while the grey-blue colour gives the mask an aesthetic
