Centurion Frames
The Centurion galvanised steel frames act as void formers for the chamber entrance, maintaining the clear opening size, whilst the wide flange (60mm) disperses the load into the concrete surround rather than on the chamber, making it less likely to fail.
The frames provide height and tilt adjustment at surface level to accommodate gradients in pavement surface and different wearing courses. This allows a high degree of flexibility of the frame. Centurion frames are locked as standard and can be supplied with a coloured powder coating. Frames are available in the following formats:
Standard Universal Locking - Locking for added security. Accommodates both 12.5 and 5 tonne composite lids
Block & Dropped Frames - For installation in areas of block, or tactile, paving. >>>
We are experienced in the manufacture of floor cassettes, which offer the following benefits:
* Manufacture of the joist system and fixing of the floor deck under factory conditions to create a very high quality product.
* Dramatically increases construction speed, especially with timber frame construction; the floor cassettes on a four bed property can typically be installed in one to two hours, ready for the first floor structure to be installed without delay.
* Elimination of site waste, as all the decking is cut and fixed in our factory.
* Elimination of working from height whilst fixing the decking.
* Makes full use of craneage on site; as soon as ground floor panel erection is complete the cassettes are installed, then the first floor panels can follow straight afterwards
* The cassettes for up to 5 units can normally be delivered in one load. >>>
A trussed rafter is an engineered framework consisting of structural members forming triangles. The framework derives its inherent strength from this triangulation.They provide a flexible method of framing many required roof profiles.
However, due to the commercial limits of available timber sections, transport limitations for length and height, and manufacturing limitations of the pressing machinery, there are restrictions on the physical dimensions of the the trussed rafter. At A. C. Roof Trusses we can manufacture trussed rafters upto an impressive 17.5m overall truss length, and a height of 4.5m. It is possible to manufacture trussed rafters outside this range by manufacturing the truss in two or more sections and site-assembled to the required profile.
