    AIR DUCT HEATERS

    AIR DUCT HEATERS

These rugged units are used to heat industrial premises, technical enclosures or control cabins. Air duct heaters for rectangular or round ducts are made up of one or more armoured stainless steel elements which may or may not be ribbed, mounted on a plate or a tee to facilitate assembly on ventilation ducts. They are designed for a minimum ventilation speed of 2 m/s. >>>

    GAS-GAS HEATERS

    GAS-GAS HEATERS

The Howden rotary regenerative heat exchanger is widely used as a gas-gas heater in wet flue gas desulphurisation processes. Prudent selection of materials, together with advanced design features, result in a heat exchanger with high performance and exceptional resistance to the cool moist conditions of flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) plant, where fouling and corrosion are a constant challenge. Our design of gas-gas heater (GGH) incorporates fixed “VN” sealing. This ensures that there is no leakage drift on the GGH over an extended period of operation and, hence, no corresponding increase in the SO2 levels to the stack. If such leakage drift did occur, the FGD system would have to work progressively harder to achieve the required SO2 removal efficiency. The thermal performance of GGHs is critical, as the reheated gas outlet temperature must be kept above the minimum specified value to achieve adequate flue gas buoyancy and ensure plume dispersion. Extensive site tests have confirmed the high thermal performance and sealing of our GGHs. We have developed efficient, fully retractable, combined cleaning devices, with the facility for normal sootblowing and both high and low pressure water washing, in order to maintain low-pressure drop. With these devices we can offer 'on-load' maintenance capabilities that are essential to maintaining GGH availability over extended operation. The element profiles used for gas-gas heater applications are chosen to combine thermal and pressure drop performance with easy cleaning. They have been proven over many years of operation in a large number of GGH installations. We use specially developed enamel coatings to protect the elements from corrosion and utilise the Howden SurePack® Elements packing system to ensure that they remain tightly packed during operation and cleaning. >>>

    IMMERSION HEATER

    IMMERSION HEATER

Immersion Heater 1000w 48 volt immersion heater. This can be used in a water heating application in preference to dumping any excess energy from the battery into the air with a standard dumpload. The heating element is 12” long and also has a 7” copper pocket. It connects to the tank via a 2.25” BSP thread. Connections are made via a domestic terminal cover. This product has been specially designed to work with alternative energy water heating applications. >>>

    STANDARD STORAGE HEATER, ELECTRONIC

    STANDARD STORAGE HEATER, ELECTRONIC

Strong energy output. ETS storage heaters are designed to bring you top performance on an extremely small footprint. The high-grade thermosolid insulating technology provides a considerable heat retention capability. It ensures that the heater gives off its heat when it is needed. A highly efficient storage core keeps the capacity required for heating on standby. The connected room temperature controller comes into play when the actual room temperature falls below the required level. The fan then blows a pleasant level of warmth into the entire room - almost silently. The device can be charged manually or centrally via the charge controller. The ETS casing is made from painted sheet steel. Its compact dimensions save space and make this storage heater extremely easy to install and service. The most important features Connected load 2.0/3.0/4.0/5.0/6.0/7.0 kW (subject to model) Heat retention capacity 48 - 59 % Fluff filter in the air inlet channel Universal electronic charge controller >>>

    FLANGE IMMERSION HEATERS

    FLANGE IMMERSION HEATERS

These are particularly suitable for heating and maintaining the temperature of large volumes or heating circulating fluids such as water, heavy fuel oil, thermal fluid, air or gas. They can be fitted on tanks, cisterns, boilers and circulation reheaters and are the best electrical heating system for a range of industries such as food processing, chemicals, textiles, plastics etc. The stainless steel or incolloy armoured elements are generally hairpin-shaped and are welded to the DIN/ASA standardized flanges according to procedures which have CODAP, TÜV and ASME approval. The watt density, ranging from 0.1 to 15 W/cm², is determined from the working parameters of the process and the exchange coefficients. For a maximum immersion length of 3300 mm, the power delivered by a flange immersion heater can reach several MW. The electrical cabling in one or more paces gives access to several power steps. Connection blocks and rods are used to ensure the electrical connection. The array may be fitted with a temperature control system whereby the power and specific load are controlled by parameters such as flow rate, pressure, viscosity, temperature etc. >>>

    SCREW ON IMMERSION HEATERS

    SCREW ON IMMERSION HEATERS

CETAL has extensive experience in these screw plug immersion heaters, which are commonly used for heating static or circulating water, rinsing baths, special oils, acids, heat transfer media, heavy fuel oil or gas. Screw-on immersion heaters are made of three or six copper, stainless steels or incolloy heating elements, depending on the heated fluid, brazed or welded on assembly plugs, with metric or British thread sizes. They are used for heating static or circulating water, oils or other specific liquids, air or gasses, at a maximum operational pressure of 15 bars. Power ranges from 100 W to 35 kW, for 230 V – 380 V – 690 V or other specified voltages. Watt densities are adapted to the customers' requirements. ATEX certified products are available for explosive atmospheres. >>>
