Dragonfly 8ft, 10ft and 12ft Electric Skiffs Roomy and stable, with a powerful electric outboard, a Dragonfly is the perfect first electric boat. Sizes range from 8ft, 10ft and 12ft. All boats are available in rowing only, electric, or sailing versions. The strong, maintenance-free GRP hulls are matched by superb mahogany joinery and brass fittings, making this a boat that will get admiring glances wherever you go. Dragonfly 12 Two thwarts and seating fore-and-aft will comfortably carry 4-6 people. Twin rowlocks allow the boat to be rowed from either thwart.

Built-in buoyancy chambers make the boat unsinkable. The powerful electric outboard is easy to control, with a twist grip throttle giving full forward and reverse thrust. It is light enough to be easily removed at the end of the day, or left clamped in position. Heavy-duty, semi-traction batteries will give many years of service. The standard set will give 4-5 hours running. The optional second set will increase this to 8-10 hours, ample for a full day's boating. Light enough to be towed behind the smallest car, it can also be carried on the roof of a medium saloon with its batteries in the boot.
