Special technologies ¦ Gluing LCDs together with high optical characteristics Shaped LCDs EM LCDs are not bound to the traditionnal rectangular shape. They can be delivered in several shapes ideally tailored to the space or design requirements of the customer's product. Sometimes, rectangular LCDs consume to much space or surface; custom shaped LCD offer an elegant alternative. EM has developed manufacturing techniques which allow the production of glass LCDs in several shapes. Holes Some applications require a pass through in the LCD glass for mechanical and electrical connections. EM is able to make holes in the LCD glass itself. Customer specific Most of EM's LCD products are customer specific designs. EM is used to accomodate to the particular requests and to engineer solutions, which optimally fit the customer's requirements.
