XM-160 series modules
are suitable for most rotating machinery applications where only
a measure of the machines overall vibration is necessary. However, the modules are
generally not recommended for machines with operating speeds below 700 RPM.

Power for the Toughest Applications. The ROC364 Remote Operations Controller (ROC) is a powerful microprocessor-based remote measurement and control device.
It is ideal for medium to high point-count applications requiring sophisticated measurement and control capability. The ROC364 incorporates many outstanding features that make it easy to use, easy to customize to the application, and cost-effective for current and future needs.
Easy to Use. The ROC364 features versatile firmware that makes complex calculations, like those for gas flow measurement, simple to implement. Both 1985 and 1992 versions of AGA Reports No. 3 and 7 as well as AGA Reports No. 8 and NX-19 are supported. Likewise, sophisticated PID loop control and logic sequencing control schemes can be implemented without programming.
Engineers and operators can configure and operate the ROC364 easily from a laptop computer. These same activities can be performed in a host-based system, because the ROC364 is supported by leading software suppliers including CygnetTM, Intellution®, USDATA®, and WonderwareTM to name just a few.
Easy to Customize. The ROC364 offers integrators a choice of native ROC, MODBUS, or custom communication protocols for seamless integration into new or existing automation systems. Polled, spontaneous report-by-exception, peer-to-peer, and master-slave communication strategies are incorporated.
Modular and Expandable. Modular design makes the ROC364 cost-effective because it can be adapted to your changing needs. Up to 64 I/O points are accommodated with plug-in single-point modules that can be used in any combination of types--you buy only what you need, when you need it.
Also available is a fixed 32-point I/O card that replaces the I/O modules and module racks. Only one I/O card can be used with the ROC364.
In addition to an operator interface port, one or two plug-in communication cards extend your communication options to a host, other ROCs, or specialized equipment. EIA-232, EIA-422/485, radio modem, leased-line modem, or dial-up modem options are available.
For ease of software upgrades, the operating system and applications firmware reside in a FlashPAC memory module that can be re-programmed in the field.
Proven Technology. Low power consumption and a wide operating temperature range make the ROC364 suitable for solar-powered installations. Built-in self diagnostics and a watchdog timer help protect your application from erroneous outputs and aid troubleshooting.
Ruggedness is a requirement for field equipment and the ROC364 meets the challenge with its heavy-gauge steel enclosure, MIL-SPEC circuit boards, and gold-plated connectors. Limited surge protection is built into I/O modules and communication cards.

IDEC MicroSmart series PLC is the next generation of programmable logic controller. These flexible, adaptable PLCs are as compact as they are powerful, so you can create the system you need without

MicroSmart CPUs are available with built-in 10, 16, and 24 I/O All-In-One units, and 20 and 40 I/O slim style models.
Each MicroSmart CPU is designed in a compact and rugged housing. Every MicroSmart module meets IDEC strict quality standards and complies with all major international standards; cULus, CE, TUV, and Lloyds.
Each CPU is equipped with a standard power supply circuit, four high-speed counters, analog potentiometer, and password protection.
The Slim type and the 24 I/O All-in-one CPU can be expanded with the many choices of expansion modules. Each MicroSmart module can be enhanced with a memory cartridge for easy maintenance, a real-time clock and calendar cartridge for real time applications, and an RS-485/RS-232 communications adapter. These adapters allow the MicroSmart CPU to data link to the MicroSmart or other IDEC PLCs, connect to operator interfaces, printers, barcode readers, or other RS-232 devices such as modems for remote communication.
MicroSmart PLCs are programmable with WindLDR, IDEC's intuitive ladder logic software. INTELLIGENT CROWNING SYSTEM
Straight bends are essential for perfectly folded parts. A sturdy and solid machine design is the biggest contributor in producing straight bends. The heavily built folding beam powerfully resists
bending forces using a deep and rigid box design. Bending forces vary significantly depending on material thickness, material quality and part length. In addition, the machine deflection near the side frames is less than in the center of the machine.
RAS Reinhardt Maschinenbau GmbH now offers the patented intelligent crowning system on its line of FLEXIbend folding machines. Integrated sensors measure the actual beam deflection during the first couple of degrees of the folding beam movement. Using this information, the CNC control activates the crowning system, which automatically compensates for beam deflection during the folding beam movement. The CNC writes the adjustment value for each bend into the program so there is no need for additional measuring cycles for the remaining parts.
Without test bends or additional programming, the crowning system creates perfectly straight parts. So, if the material is thick or thin, mild steel or stainless, short or long flanges, or whether the part will be folded in the center of the ma-chine or to one side, the results are straight and accurate parts.
