The MA15 Series of surge protection devices protects electronic equipment and computer networks against the effects of 'noise pollution' induced in mains power supplies. MA15 units 'clean up' the effects of industrial noise and surges caused by lightning, switching devices, thyristor controls, transmission system overloads and power-factor correction circuits.
Industrial control systems utilising programmable logic controllers (plc) and industrial computers are particularly vulnerable due to the aggressive electrical environments for which they are intended, such as process plants, factories and water treatment sites. Although industrial computers and plcs are designed to be rugged, the extra protection provided by the DIN rail mounting MA15 units is critical. Ideally suited for protecting panel mounted equipment and typically used in the controls section of a motor control centre (MCC), the MA15 range providessurge and RFI protected power.
Suitable for AC or DC application, MA15 units reduce both electromagneticemissions and the susceptibility of the associated equipment to emissions from other sources.

The Tundra Tsi205™ Power Controller provides comprehensive monitoring and control of primary-side power parameters and safe transmission of data to a companion secondary-side power subsystem
controller IC. Providing theseprimary-side parameters to a secondary-side management device can provide significant system uptime advantages. Hidden fuse faults can be flagged before system downtime occurs. Card-level parameters such as primary-side current and voltage levels can indicate fault trends and drive preventive maintenance activities. Tsi205 also provides control of the intermediate bus isolated power supply during card insertion and extraction. The Tsi205 provides all these primary-side monitoring capabilities.
A PI-Link™ interface enables safe transmission of primary side data across the isolation barrier using a low-cost transformer. This link provides data to the Tundra Tsi257™ Power Controller where it can be used and stored. Further, if an un-recoverable error on the secondary side occurs, the Tsi257 can send a signal to the Tsi205 to shutdown primary power.
The Tsi205-SIPAV shuts down if primary input sees an over voltage and will automatically retry after a fault, whereas the Tsi205-SIPV provides a warning for over voltage and shuts down after a fault.

GE offers 3 lines of ASTAT solid state reduced voltage starters. The ASTAT SD is a line of compact, high performance three phase starters, available to 25hp @ 460v. The SD is a full functional soft
starter with complete starting/stopping control and fault diagnostics. The ASTAT IBP Plus is a line of bypass solid state starters featuring a fully rated bypass contactor. These starters are rated up to 300HP @ 460v. The design is completely wired allowing quick, simple installation into either new or exisxting installations as a replacement for traditional starters. Description
The LC automatic transfer panel combines reliability and
flexibility in a small, economical package for transferring
loads between the
utility and generator set.
The control monitors utility power. When utility power
fails or is unsatisfactory, the control starts the generator
set and transfers the load to the generator set. The
switch automatically transfers loads back to the utility
when acceptable utility power returns.

Options
Delayed (programmed) transition - Available on
panels rated from 250 to 500 Amps, this option helps
prevent fuse blowing and circuit breaker tripping when
transferring inductive loads such as large motors and
transformers. Extends transfer time of the transfer panel
mechanism to allow load induced voltages to decay prior
to connection to the oncoming source.
Battery chargers - 2, 12 or 15 Amp battery chargers
are available as factory installed options to reduce field
wiring expense.
Three-wire start module - This option modifies the
standard LC two-wire start circuit to a three-wire start
system required by some generator sets.
Manual override switch - This key selector switch
provides a manual transfer capability. The manual
override switch uses the power from the source to which
the switch will transfer, in order to bypass the control and
transfer load.

Stop Switch, DC & AC Isolators
For use with all turbine models, these switches allow the user to isolate the DC supply to a load, to apply an electrical brake to the turbine and to isolate the AC
side of an inverter (if connected). The AC isolator is a 4-pole 20A lockable switch, which should be used when connecting Grid-Tied Inverters to a mains supply. The switch should be mounted close to the main consumer unit, between a spare 16A breaker and the inverters.
The DC Isolator and Brake should be connected to the output of the wind turbine, between it and the load (inverter, batteries etc). The main rotary switch is rated at 63A and is 4-pole. In this mode, the internal connections have been pre-wired in pairs of 2 poles, giving a massive switching capacity of 120A. Also mounted inside these switches are a low resistance dump load, allowing the turbine to slowed to a safe level before applying a direct short circuit to the turbine output wires.
