DetailsThe reduction of maintenance costs is of very high importance to operators of fluid power and lubrication systems. Therefore systematic oil care is considered a high priority. Only if the oil is kept in good condition can the lifetime of both oil and system components be optimised cost effectively. Systematic oil care requires regular checks on oil chemical condition and cleanliness - so easy access to fixed sample and filling ports is a key issue. Systematic oil care also requires changes to current filling and topping up practices. In order to realise a reduced demand for installation costs and space the combination of a breather filter with filling and sample port has been designed. Both ports are equipped with quick disconnects for fast and clean operation. The filling channel is completely separated from the breathing function. The breather filter element is disposable and available in different retention rates and materials. A contamination indicator for the filter is available either as a visual or electrical unit.

The LCT8100 Local Control Terminal utilizes
an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI),
which, together with the Local Audio Terminal
LAT8100, allows users to access, control and
manage the 8100 Series Software Defined
Radio (SDR) system.
SDR CONTROL
The Thales HF and V/UHF SDRs are the
primary components of an end-to-end
naval-based radio system. SDRs benefit from
the attributes of a versatile programmable and
configurable multi-channel exciter-receiver,
offering voice, data, messaging and e-mail
support. Based on the principle of open
system architecture, the design provides a
fully supported software environment enabling
ready adaptation or enhancement as
operational needs change.
To complement the advanced features of the
SDR, its internal Management Information
Base (MIB) can be accessed both from an
external Communication Management System
and from the highly capable SDR Local Control
Terminal LCT8100.
SOFTWARE
The LCT8100 software presents system
information in a clear and easy-to-read
manner. Related features are indicated by the
use of an intuitive user interface. Control and
diagnostic information are presented in
identical graphical styles.
The LCT application software can be readily
hosted on a customer’s preferred PC platform
running a Microsoft operating environment.
HARDWARE
The LCT8100 hardware is an industry
standard robust PC based platform. Optional
facilities include rack mounting on telescopic
runners for installation in a standard 19’’
cabinet. Combined with the Local Audio
Terminal LAT8100, this arrangement, when
retracted, occupies just 3U of cabinet height.
LOCAL AUDIO TERMINAL
The Local Audio Terminal LAT8100 is a unit
associated with the LCT8100 which provides
operator voice access to an SDR radio system
via the switched audio bus. Several LCTs can
be connected to the network depending on the
system topology.

DetailsOver the years the Fluidcotrolterminal has taken a very significant role in condition monitoring of fluid power systems.
Based on the experience with this combined unit, Bühler is introducing a more advanced product with a greater integration of functions.
The Multiterminal integrates the function of a tanktop returnline filter with advanced two stage capacity monitor and as an option, an automated filling port.
The design allows for very flexible adaption to individual application. The Multiterminal consists of a cast aluminum baseplate with integrated return-line filterhead. The head offers three different G 1 inlet ports situated 90° and in addition a G 1/2 filling port. There is also provision for a cartridge valve where automated filling is required. Two sample ports are provided for alternate use plus one sample port in the return line.
The base plate has an interface flange to DIN 24550/T2. The flange can take any suitable breather filter or can be equipped with Nivovent™ units from either series 7 or 8. These units feature a qualified breather filter with integrated level controls and temperature display plus controls as an option.

DetailsEspecially suited to visual level, electrical and temperature control in power packs and Lubrication Oil applications that are hidden or sunk lower than floor level. The NS OM-61 level-switch series has been designed for systems that require visual and electrical control of the liquid level. The magnet is placed in the visual indicator to avoid a magnetic field close to the liquid - hence the unit is perfectly suitable for the control of coolants contaminated with ferrous chips. The liquid level is controlled by adjustable contacts. The integration of temperature controls is optional. The interface with the tank top is by a flange according to DIN 24557 part 2. Versions with analogue signals for the continuous control of level and temperature are available upon request.

FEATURES & ADVANTAGES
SMD offer a wide range of compensator units suitable for subsea oil-filled devices which need to be internally pressurised above ambient. The compensators utilise either a roller diaphragm or bellow arrangement to transmit ambient changes in pressure. The compensating mechanism is complemented with springs of various rates to ensure the internal pressure remains above that of the surrounding water. Analogue transducers are available for all compensators to monitor oil level continually.
HEAVY DUTY RELIABILITY
Curvetech compensators are constructed from plastic and/or hard anodised aluminium with stainless steel fasteners to ensure corrosion resistance. Versions are available suitable for operation to full ocean depth.
Curvetech Compensated Reservoirs utilise different sizes of Curvetech compensators mated to reservoir bodies to offer various volumes of oil storage. Standard units incorporate an oil filter, water ingress alarm and temperature sensor.
All compensators and reservoirs are available with a variety of BSPP and SAE port sizes.
