ENCLOSED SPRING MOUNTS - CS SERIES

ENCLOSED SPRING MOUNTS - CS SERIES

Enclosed Spring Mounts | CS Series Overview The CS/1 spring mount combines vibration isolation with shock absoprtion. They feature built-in vertical and horizontal snubbing, providing optimum sound insulation and prevent the transmission of high frequency component noise. Being totally encased in a Neoprene covered body they eliminate metal-to-metal contact at any attitude. They are available in load ranges from 7 Kg to 210 Kg and offer isolation efficiencies in excess of 85% for running speeds as low as 670 rpm at full loading. Colour coded for ease of identification. >>>

MOHANG SPRING

MOHANG SPRING

The Vibrostop Mohang is designed for suspended units. Vibrostop Mohang spring mounts, while of compact size, feature a huge deflection under load, so they are well suited to isolate low frequency disturbances. Another feature is their high resistance against oils, corrosion, high temperatures. This mount is designed to isolate low revving machines, like air conditioning units, refrigerators, fans, or compressors INSTALLATION Fixed TYPICAL USE Air conditioning units, compressors, refrigerators, transformers, generators MATERIALS Spring: Steel C72 with epoxy paint Caps: Elastomer with metal insert >>>

CYLINDRICAL CHASSIS SPRINGS

CYLINDRICAL CHASSIS SPRINGS

On systems with dual transverse arms, all moments and forces acting together generate a force helix. The subsequent theoretical line of action lies in the shock absorber axis. Here cylindrical chassis springs come into their own, as their theoretical line of force lies along the axis of the shock absorber. Thus transverse forces generated by the system are almost eliminated. Mubea is able to control the optimum position of the line of force due to the process employed. The shape of the spring about its central median line can be created as required by cold forming, even up to oval shape or partially closed coils. >>>

DISC SPRINGS - STACKING IN PARALLEL

DISC SPRINGS - STACKING IN PARALLEL

Disc Springs: Stacking in Parallel Disc springs are assembled 'nested' inside each other, i.e. the same way up, the resultant force for such a column is the force element of a single disc spring multiplied by the number of 'nested' disc springs in the column, whilst the deflection remains the same as for that applicable to a single disc spring. It must be realised that the individual disc springs in a column assembled in parallel perform as separate entities, thus generating considerable interface friction. For a given deflection, this interface friction will result in 3% increased force per interface, this must be taken into account when calculating the total force from parallel stacking. E.G. A disc spring that requires a force of 5000N to deflect 1mm, when assembled of 3 disc springs in parallel, will require a force of 15900N to deflect 1mm. It is advised that the number of disc springs in parallel should not normally exceed 3, or in extreme cases 5 springs, to minimise heat generated by friction or, in the case of static applications, to ensure a workable relationship between the loading and unloading characteristics. The hysteresis resulting from parallel stacking can be employed to advantage in those applications of a shock absorbing nature, requiring a damping feature. The life of disc springs in parallel arrangements is very dependant on adequate lubrication of the spring interfaces. >>>

DICTATOR DOOR CHECKS

DICTATOR DOOR CHECKS

Door checks grab the door as it nears the closed position. A built in damper stops slamming and the rim is drawn shut firmly but quietly by the in-built spring. This operation is much quieter than the latching action of most overhead closers that slam the door the last few inches of its movement. The noise reduction makes the Dictator ideal for use within Hotels, Hospitals and Dormitories. Providing a positive force even when the door is shut, the door check many advantages where wind or pressure change cause doors to open, or not to close properly. The cheap closer is used to throw the door shut from the open position. The Dictator range of door checks is smooth, safe and reliable with a unique design that is both attractive and unobtrusive. Features and benifits include :- Anti-slam design to create a quiet movement Conserves energy - reduces heat and cold loss Helps prevent the spread of fire Gently controlled for easy opening and closing Easy to fit and virtually maintenance-free >>>

INDUSTRIAL SHOCK ABSORBERS

INDUSTRIAL SHOCK ABSORBERS

In the broadest sense these products act the same as the brakes in your car. Just like them, they decelerate loads quickly, gently and without any recoil or bounce back. Ace industrial shock absorbers comply with the most demanding quality standards. They are maintenance free, self-contained hydraulic products featuring the most innovative sealing technology, an extremely compact design and unbeatable performance. >>>

SPRING DISENTANGLERS AND SPRING FEEDERS - ID: SP

SPRING DISENTANGLERS AND SPRING FEEDERS - ID: SP

Disentanglers and Feeders solve such problems economically and efficiently. Disentanglement is achieved by agitation of the springs in the bowl. The bowl has a capacity of about 1/2 litre and 1 to 12 feeder tubes and pick-off points. A specifically adapted air jet blows the springs through a nozzle into the feeder tubes. An output of up to 200 springs per minute can be achieved through each feeder tube. The unit consists of the spring disentangler head, and control cabinet. Feed output can be steplessly regulated from the control panel. >>>
