The cs4 humidifier operates in accordance with the evaporation principle which is proven to be one of the best methods for humidification in museums, libraries and art galleries. This particular
procedure ensures that calcium deposits or water precipitation do not form, thereby, effectively protecting works of art and furnishings.
The humidifier is electronically controlled with a ch1 humidistat, a dual device that has an additional power switching unit (optional) for control of both a humidifier and de-humidifier, keeping the humidity at the required level.
Operating on normal or purified tap water the unit, unlike many other humidifier brands, has a removable water reservoir, thus avoiding the necessity to bring open water containers to the humidifier. The reservoir can be filled away from the humidifier and returned and inserted without the risk of spillage.
The housing is made of strong, durable plastic, designed to be anti static, resistant to acid and alkali, corrosion-proof and dimensionally stable. Its elegant design ensures it blends discreetly into any surroundings and cleaning poses no problems as the relevant assemblies can be removed from the unit without the use of tools.
Safety features have been specifically addressed as far as design is concerned, with a screen guard that protects all moving parts, such as the blower assembly and, once the supply of water has been used, the humidifier turns itself off automatically.

The software will also send an email to user-specified recipients if the temperature or humidity exceeds specified setpoints.
The DLP-TH1 sensor uses a fully calibrated capacitive polymer-sensing element for relative humidity and a bandgap temperature sensor providing excellent long-term stability. Calibration coefficients for the sensors are permanently stored in digital memory within the DLP-TH1 module so that the module is fully interchangeable with any other DLP-TH1 module.
The DLP-TH1 is shipped with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP compatible software and USB drivers. Additionally, the most recent versions of the application software and USB drivers for the DLP-TH1 are available as a free download from www.dlpdesign.com/usb/th1.html.
No external power source is required--all power (30mA max @ 5V) is taken from the USB port via the provided 2 m USB cable. Typical applications include Server/Host room monitoring, hydroponics and greenhouse monitoring and museum display cabinet monitoring.

The Mütek SZP-06 System Zeta Potential detects the surface charge of fibers and fillers. Measuring samples before and after
contact with a chemical additive evaluates the efficiency, for example, of a starch or a wet strength agent in the papermaking process. The SZP is becoming a standard tool especially as process samples can be taken as they are, and do not have to be changed for e.g. electrophoresis.
By using the tailor-made software Mütek ChargeView results obtained by the SZP-06 can be transferred in a database to administrate them and also compare them with measurements of the Mütek PCD-04 Travel.
Measuring Principle
The centerpiece of the SZP is a plastic measuring cell with ring and screen electrodes. A fiber sample is drawn into the cell by applying a vacuum. At the screen electrode a fiber plug forms. A pulsating vacuum causes the aqueous phase to oscillate through the plug, thus shearing off the counterions and generating a streaming potential. The zeta potential is calculated by using the measured streaming potential, conductivity, and the pressure differential.
For pigment measurements, the SZP-06 is offered with a special set of electrodes.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL - MS1000
The ms1000 system is designed to generate either latched voltages or currents corresponding to measured values in remote locations. This function is intended to allow radio sensors to directly
replace wired-in sensors in applications such as building environmental control where the 3rd party BMS can directly accept analogue signals. Alternatively, it can supply relay outputs for alarm or control functions. A combination of all output types can be created within a single ms1000 system (see below).
Data is read and transmitted by sensors compatible with the Hanwell radio environmental monitoring system. There are two card types:
The analogue cards contain four outputs capable of supplying either a voltage between 0...10V at 1mA, or a current between 0...20mA (compliant at 12V). The normal output ranges are 2...10V and 4...20mA. Fault conditions are indicated by a permanent drop to zero and a low battery condition is indicated by a brief drop to zero. The analogue cards are available with 8 or 12 bit resolution.
The relay card contains four outputs capable of switching 0.5A at 12V DC or 24V AC. Normally open or normally closed are available as standard.

Environmental monitoring with the ccr30 combines a humidifier, a dehumidifier and a radio control system into one unit, actuated by signals from Hanwell T/RH telemetry units. The environmental
monitoring afforded by the ccr30 allows the control of relative humidity over the full range required, with a user adjustable switching hysteresis. The hardware is guaranteed never to allow the dehumidifier and humidifier to be on simultaneously.
The ccr30 is designed to give precise and automatic control of humidity levels based on signals received from Hanwell radio telemetry sensors. Problems created by microclimates in the vicinity of the plant are completely removed by the use of remote radio sensors. the moisture content. The Water Batching Computer BT-600 determines the moisture of the concrete in the mixer fast and exactly. It calculates and doses the water to be added and is thus the basis for a constantly optimal concrete quality.

The programming of the Water Batching Computer BT-600 has been designed, to be extremely user-friendly, in order to make working with the water batching system as easy as possible for the operator. In order to enter and set up a programme for a concrete formulation, we prepare a batch in the manual mode. During the dry mixing cycle we enter the amount of water necessary to make a perfect mix. After confirming the added amount of water, the Water Batching Computer will run the mixer automatically through its mixing cycle. In the course of the programming mode the computer creates and automatically stores in its memory a "Tuning Curve", which will be typical for this particular concrete formulation. For any following concrete batch of the stored recipe, the amount of water will be accordingly calculated and correctly metered into the mixer.
The Tuning Curve
The distinct advantage of the Bikotronic Water Batching Control System BT-600 is the creation of the recipe specific "Tuning Curve". Every time we enter a new recipe, the system will create automatically a recipe specific "Tuning Curve". This ensures the highest possible rate of repeatability and accuracy for the preparation of each concrete mix. Since recipe specific "Tuning Curves" are automatically created and saved by the Bikotronic Water Batching Control System BT-600, the operator does not need to edit or calibrate these curves by using complicated water/cement ratio calculations.
