Under normal flow conditions the valves solid PTFE ball is pushed away from it’s seat and fluid flows through the valve, if the flow reverses the ball is pushed firmly back into it’s seat and prevents flow through the valve. Along with the process stream, the state of the check valve and hence flow direction can be easily seen through the windows. The ARV2/SG has 2 borosilicate glass windows. The body is PFA lined ductile iron body with stainless steel fasteners. The PFA liner is securely locked in to its housing with T slots.
