The APC424 provides 24 differential input/outputs, 16 TTL input/output channels, and four 16-bit multifunction counter/timers.
The 16 TTL input/output channels can be programmed as inputs or as
outputs on an individual channel basis. The 24 differential input/output channels are programmed as inputs or outputs on an 4-channel port basis. All input channels can be enabled for change of state, low, or high level transition interrupts.

The Mercury 750 series of communication units are robust and versatile self contained loudspeaker stations suitable for use in a variety of applications. These units are
manufactured for use in office, industrial and arduous environments such as coal preparation plants, processing plants, power stations and quarries where safety and reliability are of paramount importance. Two versions are available:
The Mercury has a removable self sealing lid equipped with loudspeaker, microphone and two bezelled push button switches with ‘press to call’ and ‘speak’ facility. The unit is supplied in a robust high grade grey finish polycarbonate enclosure to meet IP54 requirements - a flame retardant grade is available on request.
The Mercury Weathermasters are manufactured to the highest standard also using a robust high grade grey finish polycarbonate enclosure fully meeting IP66 requirements. The unit is ideal for use in external or other exposed areas. The cover is equipped with a weatherproof loudspeaker, water-proof microphone and two push button switches giving ‘call’ and ‘speak’ facility, the switches having external neoprene shrouds for an external seal against the ingress of water.
System Operation
The loudspeaker drives through a stainless steel mesh located behind the front panel louvres, providing a high degree of protection from damage and weather. The microphone is designed to eliminate high extraneous background noise such as machinery etc, during conversation between units. These units may be installed as a simple one-to-one basis, providing highly effective communication between two areas, or additional units may be combined to provide communication between additional zones. A wide range of ancillary equipment may be incorporated to provide an entire communication network. In the event of mains failure a battery back-up version is available. A ‘hands free’ model can also be supplied.
Speech is transmitted at a signal level of approximately 1 volt from a low output impedance amplifier, thus ensuring high immunity from interference pick-up in the two core audio cable used between units.
The received signal is then amplified and is capable of driving up to 15 watts r.m.s. into 4 ohm impedance. As the switching is performed by relays in the amplifier, external microphones with ‘press to speak’ facilities can be used.
All versions incorporate a removable chassis to which a lid assembly connects via a multi-pin plug socket. Each unit is supplied with power from a local mains supply at 110/120 volts or 220/240 volts 50/60 Hz single phase a.c.

DescriptionDEI Copper screen enclosures are used where absence of a sense of confinement or where casual observation from the outside is desirable. The superior shielding characteristics obtained from ETS-Lindgren screen enclosures are primarily the result of DEI construction, which permits screen to be used where solid double shield construction would ordinarily be used.
In some applications, screen enclosures eliminate the need for additional ventilation. Where required, exhaust fans or connections to existing air handling systems are easily added. Screen rooms are very easy to assemble because of the inherent flexibility of the shielding material which requires lower clamping pressures than are generally required with steel and other rigid materials.
Kick-plates or protective paneling are used to protect the lower 32" on the inside and outside of each wall panel. Kick-plates are made of an attractive wood grain paneling. A color coordinated vinyl tile is installed over 3/4" plywood panels which are connected with 1/8" thick, 4" wide aluminum strips to provide an entirely flush modular floor system.

DoorsThe ETS-Lindgren DEI door employs a number of unique proprietary and patented features which contribute to its superior performance characteristics and durability. All hardware and door seals are designed to maintain electrical isolation between the inner and outer shields. Doors are side hinged and supported by three heavy duty hinges to provide sag-free mounting and have been cycle tested up to 25,000 operations.
A three-point roller bearing latching system applies uniform pressure to two sets of spring temper phosphor bronze contact fingers to provide leak-proof seals for both the inner and outer shields.
The three-point clamping system draws the door into a closed position when the 28" panic type handle is pulled up with a force of less than 30 pounds. A positive opening pressure is applied to the door when the handle is pushed down to open. The handle and lever arms, which apply clamping pressure, are adjustable as are the contact fingers. Single, double and vestibule door systems are available in most sizes and with a variety of options, including color-coordinated or wood-grained veneer finishes, view windows, access openings, ramps, locks, alarms, interlocks and microwave absorber seals. The Home Network Media Server (HMS) is the perfect solution for users wanting to stream live digital tv/radio around their home network.
The unit boasts 4 Nebula Electronics Digital Terrestrial
tuners for almost complete viewing independence in each room around the house, and a total of half a terabyte of internal storage provides ample space for all of your recordings, media and music.
Housed in an attractive black metal enclosure, the low-profile HMS unit (just 45mm high) is almost silent in operation and would sit equally well either on full display or hidden away in a rack with the rest of your home entertainment equipment.
The HMS marks the end of having to route massive cable bundles to get entertainment in each room of the house. Using your existing LAN infrastructure, the HMS will send digital tv and radio and your music collection to any room in the house. The server can be configured to use multicasting over conventional wired CAT5 networks, and point-to-point over 802.11g wireless networks.
The server's clients can be either Nebula's own thin-client (+More) or an existing PC running Nebula's software. This extremely powerful software application gives users full access to all channels and interactive content in an easy to use Graphical User Interface (GUI).
The Server or any of the Clients can be used to record tv / radio programmes and import music from CD, and will save them to distributed storage ready for easy, instant access by any other machine at any time. The Fusion Network Media Server (NMS) is a one-stop solution to the problem of networking live digital tv/radio and custom content around a large network.
The NMS is not simply an IPTV
transmission device; it is a fully interactive server that allows individual clients to dynamically access the multitude of available channels together with useful services such as MHEG-5 Digital Teletext and Audio Description.
Uniquely, the NMS will allow you to define custom channels that broadcast your own content. These channels run side-by-side with the live digital tv/radio channels, as if they were 'on-air' too.
