Developed to economically treat small
spillages, such as those that can occur in a laboratory environment. Provide easy access to the appropriate control agent for a particular type of chemical spill.
PP containers allow for both types of agent application namely pouring or shaker. Each bottle can treat up to a 1.9 l spill (1.4 1.9 m²). Convert caustics and acids into non-hazardous compounds that meet EPA specifications for non-hazardous waste. Can be used effectively to deal with accidental spills or release of acids (SPILL-X-A®, also suitable for hydrofluoric acid, HF), caustics (SPILL-X-C®), solvents (SPILL-X-S®) and formaldehyde (SPILL-X-FP®) at the workplace.

SAMPLE RETENTION SYSTEM - ND-1000
The sample retention system used by the NanoDrop® ND-1000 is one of the key features of the instrument. Not only does it enable the analysis of 1 ul samples, it also eliminates the need for cuvettes
and capillaries. This saves on the cost of disposable cuvettes and/or on the time and effort spent in cleaning reusable ones. For busy laboratories, this feature alone can pay for the cost of the ND-1000! Click here to view application note on NanoDrop technology.
With the sample apparatus open, a droplet of sample is pipetted onto the measurement pedestal.
When the sample apparatus is closed, the sample arm slightly compresses the droplet and a sample column is drawn. Surface tension alone holds the sample in place.
The spectral measurement is then made and quantification is made based on the tightly controlled path length of 1mm.
When the measurement is complete, the sample apparatus is opened and the sample is simply wiped from both the sample arm and sample pedestal using an ordinary dry laboratory wipe. Since the sample is not contained in a secondary vessel, the sample directly wets the system optics, reducing the variations resulting from changing and/or repositioning cuvettes. When the sample is removed, the optics can be easily cleaned making it possible to measure successive sample concentrations varying by more than 1000 fold in concentration with no carryover (see performance data).

The production of Test Dusts is one of Particle Technology's critical operations. Our test dusts are used world wide for the testing and certification of a wide range of equipment such as automotive
and aerospace engines, filtration systems and machinery.
The Test Dust production department within Particle Technology has considerable experience in manufacturing test dust to meet UK, EU, US, Japanese and ISO Standards. Test Dust can also be manufactured to specific requirements of the customer whatever the distribution and composition. Standard Test Dusts are available which simulate the environment in everything from the desert to the city, from gas pipeline to aviation fuel, from railways to aircraft. This allows you as the customer to test your products in real life situations in order to achieve product superiority.
Within our plant facilities and laboratory we offer a range of equipment for the manipulation of powder, including: high speed pin mills, ball mills, continuous flow vibratory ball mill, planetary mill, air classifier and a multideck sieving machine. For the purpose of of dissolution of solids and liquid mixing we also have helical screw blenders and high shear mixers. We can handle most materials in our versatile plant from diamond to carbon fibre.
All materials are supplied with a Certificate of Conformance and a Material Safety Data Sheet.
Miscellaneous materials can also be supplied such as Cotton linters, Iron chips, Aluminium chips, Carbon fibre rods and SOFTC-2A Oil Contaminant.

BIOHAZARD SPILL KIT
The biohazard spill kit contains everything needed to clean up spills of blood or other biohazardous fluid quickly and safely. Each kit contains:
• Haz-Tab granules, which are formulated using
sodium dichloroisocyanurate, a powerful chlorinating agent effective against bacteria, fungi and viruses; poured onto the spill they absorb and disinfect simultaneously ·
• A scoop and scraper to transfer the spill, including broken glass, to the yellow incineration bag for disposal
• Tablets to enable preparation of a 10 000 ppm solution of chlorinating agent, with which splashes can be wiped up
