The LW3-12 outdoor A.C. medium-voltage SF6 circuit breaker is a new kind of outdoor medium-voltage circuit breaker in which the SF6 gas is used as arc-extinguishing and insulating medium. The interrupter adopts whirl arc principle. The circuit breaker integrates with operating device. Compared with other outdoor circuit breaker for rated voltage of 12kV, the circuit breaker has such advantages as simple structure, reliable arc-extinguishing and insulating performances, low operation power, high rated parameters, long electric endurance and long period of free-maintenance etc. There are two kinds of types of the circuit breaker, both of which are used on pillar: one is?type matched with independent-manual operating device; another is ?type matched with independent-power operating device that can realize local, remote and auto-reclosing operation.The circuit breaker applies to three-phase A.C. power system for rated voltage of 10kV and rated frequency of 50Hz. It can be used for control and protection in small and medium scale substation.
