HEAT EXCHANGERS DPO

HEAT EXCHANGERS DPO

Glass-lined heat exchangers Glass-lined heat exchangers are used mainly for processes involving highly corrosive products. However, because of the surface properties of glass lining, they are particularly efficient also for products that tend to stick to or encrust the walls of a vessel. Since adherence is prevented or, at any rate, cleaning facilitated, almost constant heat transfer is assured. DPO HEAT EXCHANGERS This jacketed-pipe heat exchangers is particularlysuited for processes involving heat transfer between liquid. Constructional features These heat exchangers are of modular construction, with a number of basic units connected together. Each of these is made up of a glass-lined jacketed pipe, inside which flows the process product while the heating or cooling fluid flows in the jacket. The modular design provides numerous possibilities for assembly in series or in parallel, as well as the advantage of being able to change the total heat transfer surface area as required. Design data Pressure: inner and/or outer tube: 6 to 40 bar according to the nominal flanges pressure. Temperature: -25 to +200 °C. >>>

HIGHER ALCOHOLS

HIGHER ALCOHOLS

Higher Alcohols Exxal alcohols are distilled, high-purity, clear liquids consisting of primary aliphatic alcohols produced from selected olefins. They are mixtures of isomers of different branched structures, primarily methyl branching, with both odd- and even-numbered carbon chains ranging from C7 to C13. Exxal alcohols are used as intermediates for a variety of derivatives used in a multitude of applications. They exhibit the typical reactivity of higher primary alcohols. They are mostly used in the processes of ethoxylation, sulfation and esterification. >>>

PHARMACEUTICAL MULTITUBE S

PHARMACEUTICAL MULTITUBE S

The HRS F Series was developed specifically for the pharmaceutical industry and features corrugated tubes designed to increase the turbulence of the liquid and lead to an improved rate of heat transfer. Manufactured as standard from AISI 316 stainless steel with a 0.4 micron finish, this heat exchanger?s highly polished and crevice free construction ensures that it easily meets the pharmaceutical industry?s stringent hygiene and non-contamination requirements. The seamless design of the HRS F Series means that there is nowhere for bacteria to become trapped, ensuring that there is no contamination of the pharmaceutical product. Another important attribute of the HRS F Series range is the incorporation of double tube plates featuring an integral air gap between, therefore in the unlikely event of a crack, the leakage is to the atmosphere so that no cross contamination occurs. Of a compact design the HRS F Series is much smaller than a comparable smooth tube unit making it both more cost effective and space efficient. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS Heating and cooling of fluids for injection and laboratory wastes; sterilisation of fluids for injection. >>>

THERMORON HEAT EXCHANGERS

THERMORON HEAT EXCHANGERS

Thermoron® heat exchangers have been in successful use for over 25 years now in electroplating, the chemical industry, the semiconductor industry and in areas of the food and textile industries. The employed materials include PTFE - PFA - FEP - PVDF and ECTFE. These are fluoroplastics, offering excellent virtually universal chemical resistance, high heat resistance and very good anti-adhesive properties. As lower-priced alternatives, heat exchangers are also produced in the thermoplastics PP and PE. Calculation of heat requirement We design the heat exchangers in accordance with the requirements of the intended application, as specified by the customer. You can use the enclosed questionnaire for this purpose. The structural designs A general distinction is made between the following main groups: • rectangular heat exchangers • modular heat exchangers • circular heat exchangers • mini heat exchangers • shell & tube heat exchangers • surface heat exchangers We offer these constructions according to the specific applications concerned, as the various designs may entail decisive advantages in certain applications. Our diversity enables us to offer you the very best in quality advice. We are also extremely flexible with regard to dimensions and are able to supply products in special dimensions at no extra charge. This flexibility extends to individual service conditions. The dimensions of the tubing can be adapted to your pressure conditions, for example. >>>

HEAT EXCHANGERS GEO

Glass-lined heat exchangers Glass-lined heat exchangers areused mainly for processes involving highly corrosive products. However, because of the surface properties of glass lining, they are particularly efficient also for products that tend to stick to or encrust the walls of a vessel. Since adherence is prevented or, at any rate, cleaning facilitated, almost constant heat transfer is assured. GEO HEAT EXCHANGERS This type is used for heat transfer processes involving a change of phase (condensing or evaporation). The most frequent application is as a reflux condenser connected to a glass-lined reactor in a batch process. Constructional features The GEO heat exchangers are made up of four concentric shells with three interspaces. In the central space, with glasslined surfaces, flows the process product and in the outer spaces the heating or cooling fluid. Heat transfer surface 2 to 20 m². Design data Pressure: -1 to +6 bar Temperature: -25 to +200 °C Design and calculation codes VSR/ISPESL, AD-MerkbIätter/TÜV, SVTI, ASME VIll div.1, BS 5500, CODAP/DRIRE, Stoomwezen, SA or CE stamp (PED).
