Milborne wall hung condensing modular boilers use one or two modules within a single casing to provide modulating outputs. The 381 / 382 models modulate up to 38kW or 76kW and the 501 / 502 models up to 50kW or 100 kW, each module working independently from an integral Master controller. The twin module heat exchanger design provides a fail safe stainless steel solution to give increased system security.
Using a Master and Slave control system, the Milborne offers simple but powerful solutions to modular wall hung boiler applications. Master versions of the boiler are available in the Milborne 381 or 501, which have a single 38kW or 50kW module, and the Milborne 382 and 502 have two modules within the same boiler casing. Slave models are available as the Milborne 382 or 502, to be used in conjunction with Milborne Master boilers. This system caters for incremental loads from 38kW / 50kW upwards in units of 38kW / 50kW.
Milborne wall hung boilers are now available with a range of ancillaries including fast-fit frame-sets, pipe work header kits, primary circuit kits and flue headers, to simplify design and speed up installation.
Using a 50mm diameter plastic flue system, with Class B1 fired rated polypropylene components, twin duct room sealed capability or open flue flexibility, Milborne boilers can be located almost anywhere in a building. Flue headers simplify multiple boiler installations, to run larger outputs to a safely positioned discharge terminal.
In-built multi-system controls enable the Milborne to control up to 3 separate system circuits operating at 3 different temperatures, with up to 3 pumps making it a complete system solution; for higher temperature circuits (radiators / fan coil units), low temperature circuits (underfloor heating) and hot water systems (calorifier).

The Ansty range is available with a choice of high/low or fully modulating matched burners, suitable for firing natural gas.
For multiple boiler installations a Marshall HE boiler sequence controller can be used with the Ansty, which provides a range of features to achieve greater efficiency.
Also available in Hamworthy's condensing range is the Warmwell cast iron atmospheric condensing boiler. The Warmwell is available in five fully automatic models with outputs of 59kW, 76kW, 93kW, 120kW, and 135kW when in condensing mode. Modular outputs are available from 118kW to 810kW.

Purewell VariHeat boilers are available in condensing or non condensing versions. There are 5 models in the condensing range with outputs from 70kW to 180kW, and 4 models in the non-condensing range with outputs from 65kW to125kW. Both models are equipped with a fully modulating pre-mix gas fired burner.
A simple direct replacement for cast iron atmospheric boilers, with exceptional seasonal efficiency performance, the Purewell VariHeat has ultra low emissions and durability built in as standard. Exceeding the requirements of the revisions to the Building Regulations and allowing refurbishments to be easier and cheaper.
Exceptional Performance
Hamworthy have designed the Purewell VariHeat to retain all the benefits of the traditional boilers but with vastly improved performance to more than meet the emissions and efficiency requirements for modern day boilers. At 25mg/kWh NOx emissions, the Purewell VariHeat easily achieves European Class 5 performance.
The robust cast iron heat exchanger is fitted with a down firing pre-mix burner and achieves seasonal efficiencies up to 96% gross, exceeding the minimum seasonal efficiency requirements of 84% gross for new and existing buildings.
User Friendly Controls
Boiler controls are functional and simple to use, whilst at the same time offering capability ranging from basic stand-alone operation to fully integrated control, with Building Management System (BMS) compatibility.
Optional cascade controller for the control of multiple boilers using reliable bus communications between modules. The Purewell VariHeat has a common controls platform using the same controls as the Wessex ModuMax and Sherborne SE boiler range, these 3 boiler ranges can utilise the benefits of the Hamworthy Remote Monitoring Unit.
Pipe kits
To simplify design and procurement, Hamworthy provide a range of pipe kits for 2, 3 or 4 multiple boilers, which are factory tested and part assembled for ease of installation. The kits include valves to isolate individual boilers, and the headers are fitted with sockets to accommodate instrumentation and control sensors.

The Wessex ModuMax is a compact floor standing boiler range, which offers the choice of high efficiency condensing or non condensing models.
All models feature the latest fully modulating burner technology with 100% to 20% modulation on each module, and hot surface ignition with 120v power transformer.
Condensing Models
The Wessex ModuMax is available in 15 condensing models with outputs from 100kW to 750kW. The heat exchanger is manufactured in high grade stainless steel to provide protection against condensate, and is designed for 20ºC differential temperature rise across the module, maximising the opportunity for condensing operation.
Non-Condensing models
With outputs from 110kW to 660kW, there are 9 non condensing Wessex ModuMax models. They use the traditional large bore copper finned heat exchanger with its excellent heat transfer properties and ultra-low standing losses.
Hamworthy has teamed up with a world class leader in building control systems to provide the boiler controls and system interface components, increasing functionality and compatibility with building management systems (BMS).
Completing the Wessex ModuMax package is a range of optional manifold kits that simplify deign and installation. The manifold kits are available for 2 or 3 modules and are factory tested and assembled for ease of installation.

* Boiler is of three pass dry back, scotch type, built and stamped in accordance with the requirements of the ASME Code, and listed by the National Board of Boilers and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.
