The Blizzard version of the ever-popular 'space blanket'. A handy and inexpensive piece of equipment, but is out-performed by our Reflexcell™ products, including the Blizzard Survival Blanket. This is our version of the single film reflective sheet, commonly known as a space blanket. FEATURES Plain single film blanket without closures or fasteners. Silver surface reflects radiated body heat. PERFORMANCE Warmth: designed to protect users from the cold in relatively mild conditions. Weather protection: fully waterproof and windproof (but lack of fasteners and very light weight can make them flap'- reducing effectiveness compared with our Blizzard Survival Blanket). Storage: may be stored indefinitely, and not affected by temperature or moisture, either during storage or in use. Portability: very small pack size and low weight. Re-usability: can be re-used several times without loss of performance. APPLICATIONS A versatile option wherever high thermal performance is not important.
